MUUUUUUUUUUUSE!!!

Posted 14-Apr-2016
Stayed here for one night before the Muse concert at the MEN Arena. Check in was quick and friendly, and the receptionist gave us directions to where we could get dinner. We stayed in a family room which was fine for the price. Bed was comfy and the complementary earplugs were a great idea! Only downside was that 3 of us were staying, yet only 2 mugs and 2 towels were provided. When we tried to ring reception to tell them the phone was broken. However, a minor grumble. The hotel was fine for a night and I'd stay there again.

An ok stay Location a bit noisy but the hotel does offer earplugs. some staff were friendly, others exhibited a cold exterior which bordered on rude. Rooms were clean and comfortable.

Staff attitudes

Pros: Staff!
Location: Very close to Gay village, chinatown so it is worth to walk from there.
Staff are very friendly especially they have deaf awareness! Great attitude to any customers, no matter what they are.

Visiting Manchester for a weekend

Posted 28-Feb-2016
Pros: location
Location: Piccadilly station it's near by / University area very near by / Gay distric very near by...al very easy to walk to anyway.
The hotel is very close to the station and pretty close to most of the central areas. It was a good option for a good price. Pity we didn't enjoy the breakfast, it supposed to be available up to 12pm but at 10.30 it was already all gone.

Nice Indian restaurant next door. Very good for visiting universities with a good rate per night. Very near the city center and its amenities.

You get what you pay for

Posted 08-Feb-2016
Pros: Location is very convenient and the rooms are cheap and clean.
Cons: The room was far too warm and airless, and there was no option to cool the room down without opening the window (on a very wet and windy evening).
Not a bad hotel and convenient for both Piccadilly and Oxford Road stations. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable, and the breakfast was ample. Check in was very slow, with staff apparently more interested in making phone calls than checking in an increasing queue of customers. Although there is a car park a short walk away, be aware that the hotel does not own and has no agreement with the car park and it's expensive to park overnight. If you're travelling by train and have things to do in central Manchester that mean you don't need much from a hotel besides a clean room and a comfortable bed, it's perfect.
