An ideal location for us to attend the AO arena. A short walk from the centre of town, very handy to the bus and tram. The Crowne plaza gave us a friendly welcome and accommodated us for a meal. We did have problems getting into our room with the access card, the room was nice but no hot water in the bathroom basin. Thank you for the room change. A good breakfast choice.

Lovely clean room with very comfortable bed, room looks recently refurbished. Great to have a bath and a shower. Hotel within easy walking distance to shopping and restaurants. Last minute change to this hotel and we were very pleased, didn’t get the bathrobes though that were promised but a minor point iverall

Went on our wedding night and they immediately upgraded us to a premier suite on the highest floor with a nice view. It was an amazing experience and we would definitely return, very clean, spacious and the bed was very comfortable. Located near some takeaways, convenience stores, shopping mall and supermarkets which is another plus. The housekeeping lady also cleaned our room very nicely and was very pleasant to communicate with. Highly recommend.

There was construction work going on in the lobby when I arrived. I don’t recall reading that was going to occur. But I quickly forgot about this. Staff are excellent. From check-in, club floor, to check-out, everyone was helpful and courteous. If you are in Manchester for business, the club floor is particularly helpful. Ok, the coffee is lousy, but service is good. They always had fresh fruits, which I appreciated.

All in all a good stay
Hotel location very good minutes walk from shops and restaurants. Staff lovely and friendly, price list in bedroom different from what you were actually charged at the bar. Breakfast there was plenty of choice but the cooked breakfast was a little on the tepid side. All in all a good stay but a little lacking compared to previous stays at other IHG properties.

Great staff. Good location.
Location was great, room was good and the staff were very helpful. Only downside was a few small issues in the room; bath didn’t empty, the TV in room kept going into standby and the mini-fridge didn’t work. All in all though a good stay.

Lovely staff, nice hotel, decent sized room although for 4 adults staying we were only left two dressing gowns and two pairs of slippers, however I am sure that if we had asked for more this wouldn’t have been a problem as all the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. We will definitely stay here again, my only minor concern is that the parking discount didn’t seem to be available online.

Review
Nice location, a small amount of noise can be heard from the street. The fitness room is not a gym, only a few items for cardio (treadmill) which was disappointing. The restaurant menu was very limited. The room and bathroom were lovely, however, so I would choose this hotel again off comfort.

Fine for an overnight stay for a family of four. Room a bit small though and no upgrades available. Hotel decor a bit dated.
