Jurys Inn Manchester City Centre

56 Great Bridgewater Street, Manchester - Map

"Nice City Centre Hotel"
Nice hotel - perhaps a bit dated and street presence is a little underwhelming, Friendly and welcoming staff - though one member of reception staff (the only one on duty) acknowledged me while she was on the telephone but then moved to a different station and left me standing while she served other people arriving after me. Room is OK, a bit dated and very beige. Not enough lighting (just one standard lamp) in room or bathroom. Hot water wasn't too hot or powerful and I was only on the second floor. Room has all amenities including ironing board (but this is just leaning against the wall - feels a but like a bedsit!). Bed very comfortable and everything very clean. I especially like windows that open and this was a good feature of the room. Surprisingly quiet during the night even with the window open. Very satisfactory breakfast with everything that you could want and lovely friendly service from the staff. The issues I've detailed are very small and for the cost of the room and it's proximity to the Bridgewater Hall this hotel is very good value for money and comfortable.

Just perfect in every sense and thanks to the member of staff who showed us the safe room and some of the meeting rooms. Great breakfast and I cannot reccomend a stay more strongly. Especially if you love quirky architecture.

"Good hotel. Close to airport and train station"
Arrived at train station, curtesy bus picked up within 10 mins. Quick drive to the hotel. 15 min wait to check in. Room good. No prob with wifi. Ate in bar. Food good. Excellent service. Very quiet, slept no problem. Booked curtesy bus for terminal 3 and it was there on time. Would definitely use again for an early flight.

"Close to Salford Quays"
Hotel is ideally situated within Salford Quays with free parking. Breakfast was a buffet with plenty choice. However the Hotel is a little tired and decor is a bit old fashioned. But it is spotless and i would recommend it to anyone.

"Nice hotel in convenient location"
Really enjoyed my stay at the Midland the only thing that lets the hotel down is the coffee that's served at breakfast. I couldn't drink the coffee it was so horrible and had to buy a coffee to have with breakfast. I think when you have already paid for breakfast you shouldn't be charged for a cup of coffee that is drinkable!

Pocket Guide: Business Hotels in Manchester

Manchester is a popular destination for business travellers, who may be attending conferences at Manchester Conference Centre or King's House Conference Centre or trade shows at Manchester Central Convention Complex in the city centre. If you're here for meetings or to close that deal, then you'll find a range of top quality business hotels in the city centre and nearby Ashton-under-Lyne, as well as airport hotels and independent hotels to choose from.

Work and Play at Manchester's Business Hotels

They say all work and no play is a bad thing - that won't be an issue at Manchester's business hotels! Although most offer amenities such as 24-hour business centres, meeting rooms and conference spaces for guest use, you'll also find larger chain hotels provide spa and sauna facilities, with a range of treatments to help you relax and unwind. City centre hotels are within easy walking distance of attractions, bars and restaurants, so whether you're entertaining business guests or letting your hair down after a day of meetings, you're in the ideal location.

Stay near Manchester's Restaurants and Bars

Those attending events such as the BCS Annual Conference or the Manchester Furniture Show at the Central Convention Complex will find that most hotels in the city offer free parking - great if you're bringing the car. There's plenty to see and do here too, whether you fancy spending an afternoon off exploring the city's museums and galleries or prefer to head for one of the many cafes or restaurants serving world cuisine. There are some great Japanese restaurants in Manchester, and taking business clients to a Teppanyaki restaurant is sure to be a conversation starter, as you'll see the chefs at work. There are plenty of upmarket cocktail and wine bars too, but few offer such spectacular views as Cloud 23, on the 23rd floor of the Deansgate Hilton.

    Excellent Amenities for Business Guests

Business hotels in Manchester are packed with amenities to make your life easier if you're travelling on business. Free WiFi and desks in guest rooms makes it easy to catch up on work, while 24-hour room service and spa facilities ensure you'll be able to unwind after a busy day.
