Brilliant hotel in a great location. As with lots of city centre hotels there is a lack of car parking at the hotel, my only gripe. Only stayed one night but glad I choose this hotel it was near the Chinese area and there was lots on for the new year.

Whatever you're into, you'll find it in Manchester. For those who fancy skiing or snowboarding, Chill FactorE, the largest indoor ski slope in the UK, is the place to head. There are plenty of activities for the whole family including a huge slip n' slide for the kids. You can give Airboarding (body boarding on snow) a go, try Snowscoot, a fusion of BMXing and snowboarding, or tackle the indoor climbing wall. Or head for the nearby Airkix centre where you can try skydiving in the largest indoor tunnel in the United Kingdom, measuring 39ft high by 14ft in diameter. For younger kids, there's always Go Ape! With rope bridges, Tarzan swings and zip slides high above the forest floor, the facilities are suitable for ages 10 and up. With most hotels offering free parking, it's easy to get from A to B quickly.
