Chain hotels such as the Worsley Park Marriott Hotel are within easy driving distance of Airkix and Chill FactorE, with free self-parking available. All hotels offer WiFi, although this is not always free, with many also providing laundry facilities, complementary cribs/infant beds and a 24-hour front desk.
Whatever you're into, you'll find it in Manchester. For those who fancy skiing or snowboarding, Chill FactorE, the largest indoor ski slope in the UK, is the place to head. There are plenty of activities for the whole family including a huge slip n' slide for the kids. You can give Airboarding (body boarding on snow) a go, try Snowscoot, a fusion of BMXing and snowboarding, or tackle the indoor climbing wall. Or head for the nearby Airkix centre where you can try skydiving in the largest indoor tunnel in the United Kingdom, measuring 39ft high by 14ft in diameter. For younger kids, there's always Go Ape! With rope bridges, Tarzan swings and zip slides high above the forest floor, the facilities are suitable for ages 10 and up. With most hotels offering free parking, it's easy to get from A to B quickly.
Whether you prefer the independence of serviced apartments or the extra facilities of a chain hotel, you'll find accommodation to suit your needs here. Hotels have plenty of family-friendly amenities such as laundry facilities, but are also well-equipped to cater for business guests, with 24-hour business centres and free WiFi.
