Front desk service was very good and helpful. The main drawback was room/food service. Salad with no dressing, tea with no milk or sugar, one single cup for 3.50 BRL, no kettle included in the room, water from the mini-bar a bit expensive, but those are minor things.
The one bad part was when I requested milk & sugar for the tea, the room service guy brought up a whole thermos of milk and tried to charge me 12.00 BRL for it! He wrote down that I ordered a "garrafa de leite" (whole bottle of milk), but I did not! Just a little bit of milk for a cup of tea was all I needed, and it's supposed to be included with the tea, not charged extra or brought separately. Also, whoever was taking the order on the phone had some difficulty in communicating.
Aside from that, it was decent. There were no universal outlets though, and only 5 travel adapters available (all of which were apparently claimed by a single group). I would recommend either installing universal outlets or providing more travel adapters for guests (5 is definitely not enough for a hotel of this size).
The hotel was very clean though, and the front desk staff had co-ordinated with the tour company I was using. That was very nice.
Overall, I would recommend the hotel, as long as the room service is improved!
