We love snow creek but this year the second cabin didn’t have working heat. They did bring space heaters but only had enough for 2 rooms in a three bedroom cabin. Reviewer Comments: My husband and I rented this unit along with our son, his wife, and two young boys. We come to Mammoth yearly. The property was in a great location and he layout was perfect. Unfortunately we were there during an extreme heat wave and the unit got extremely hot. There weren't any ceiling or free standing fans to try to cool things down. I do realize that this heat wave was unusual. Our major complaint was that the ignitor for the outside barbecue was broken and being nonsmokers we did not have any matches. The ignitor was literally hanging from the barbecue and I feel that this should have been noticed before renting out the unit and repaired. Management did not have anyone to bring us a lighter. They did come the next day to try to fix it but they were unsuccessful. This was not an open grate barbecue so we had to take it apart to light it which was a safety issue.Snowcreek was in the midst of resurfacing the roads around our unit so it was quite noisy, especially since we had to leave all the windows open. I do understand that summer is the only time this type of maintenance can be done.Overall we were pleased with our rental.
