Not one complaint. We plan on visiting Tropica again! Stayed 6 nights and wish we would have booked it for longer. They truly make you feel like family! Plenty of activities are offered, and they will accomodate any request you may possibly have.
Recently just stayed at the amazing lomani resort. Now before going I was a bit confused by some of the negative reviews that some people had left about this place, well I can tell you that they are just plain idiots. I can't wait to go back to lomani, the staff and resort are perfect. So eager to please and help you out with any problem you have, plus no kids was bliss. Riding through plantation and seeing all the shacks you can't wait to get back to your little paradise haha the flame tree restaurant was amazing, yes the menu is some what limited but you can adjust the little things if you don't like something about it. I will miss the lomani family but will return one day, vinaka
before you go make certain if you want to be around kids. Sometimes very noisy. Can hear threw walls.
Australia and New Zealand do not follow the typical American school schedule. They have frequent 'Holidays' throughout
the year - check before you go to see if they will be on break during your vacation!

An idyllic island paradise where you can escape the stress of modern living and relax amongst golden sandy beaches, abundant …More
The stay at plantation island was what you would expect from an island resort. Our room was 15 steps from the beach and was clean and air conditioned- a big plus.
Free snorkelling gear and beach towels was an awesome perk as there is snorkelling straight off the beach. The sand bar that you can pay to boat to was also a great deal at only $15 for an hour (only a 5 min boat ride).
The food was great and the food plan meant we didn't have to worry too much once there. Although we felt that the food plan didn't necessarily save us that much money over just buying each meal as we went- as they were similarly priced and the food plan required you buy it for every day which seemed a little restrictive. The service was friendly but occassionally the staff seemed misinformed with information.
There seemed like lots for kids to do and the overall feel was lovely. I would suggest taking your own snacks as they're over priced as you would expect. However the small super market on the island does provide food for lunch which we thought was a lot more reasonable than the restaurants/snack bars or the lunch meal plan they offered.
very good place with a beach side protected from the south wind (when present) so that to enjoy the beach and the snorkeling despite the sea outside was rough. It's a place very quite and fit for families with a very good kids club with open air activities (cocunuts hunting, crab hunting, handicraft with straw, sand castle and evening walks and play on the beach - bottom glass boat trip close to the beach), my daughter loved it and a lot of kids are there anytime. Snorkeling is good even not very far from the beach (trumpet fish, stingrays, corals and reef fishes, I saw also small lobsters and a couple of baby black tip shark).
The mattress was not very confortable for me becasuse it was too soft and I suffered it because of the position.
Buffet could be better but with a la carte menu one week can be enjoyed. Pizza was not good at all.

A group of small islands offshore from Nadi, the Mamanucas are ringed by sandy beaches, turquoise to pastel green waters, and coral reefs. Access is a quick hop from Nadi via boat or plane transfer, and accommodation options range from budget to luxury, and bures (traditional thatch-roof huts) through to exclusive beachfront villas. Scuba diving and snorkelling in this region comes highly recommended.
