Comfortable

Location: Walking distance to square for ablebodied. Some places nearer for entertainment and saying
Room clean,bed comfortable, staff excellent, food good, bar facilities inadequate and badly run. Swimming pool good with plenty of beds and good swimming space for persons not happy with being out of their depth.

Location: Location fantastic.. an extremely short walk to the sea front with lots of amenities to suit all.
Fantastic welcome, great start to our short break away.. staff very accommodating , our room was clean and comfortable. Lazy afternoons by the amazing pool. Whilst on our visit the hotel were actually doing some maintenance work but not causing any disruption to the residents. Loved our stay and would recommend The Topaz Hotel 😎

Hotel let down by staff and conditions.

This is a 3 star hotel with three star facilities, so don't come expecting more. Our 4th floor room, a twin was ok. Comfortable beds, however, it's was very tired, and in much need of a renovation/ redecoration. The shower worked, was hot, but lacked any power, and the flow stopped when raised above your head. That said, the Topaz was in a good location and exactly what we paid for. However, the real problem with the Topaz is the reception staff, they're just rude, and constantly made us feel as if we're an inconvenience. Asking for bus directions left us listening to one member of staff berate another on their directions, when in fact his were correct. Trying to get your room key was a challenge, regardless of staff availability. If you're busy, just acknowledge me, don't ignore me, and I'll wait, but to have my repeated requests ignored is poor customer standards. Also, this is a noisy hotel, not the guests, the infrastructure, the air con is like jet engine and not cold, the roof plant gives a constant droning, loud enough that we needed to close the doors at night, not good when it's hot. We had a kitchen in our room, but it came with nothing, not a pot or pan, knife fork or spoon, in fact the oven and our kettle need to be changed as didn't work either. I'm sure the hotel will respond to this review with their usual "spiteful review" claim, but other guest have left similar reviews, and we can't all be wrong. Location: Man skulle gå 1,5 km på dårlige vej! Ellers gode aktiviteter
Dårlig wifi som de lover de vil lave mandag men de laver ikke noget ved det der er kun net henne ved poolen tæt på restuanen! Aftensmaden var ud spiseligt det var koldt!
