Everything was wrong, TV doesn't come with remote control, extra 10 euro for remote. Then it didn't work, when fixed only 2 channels and not good dirty rooms, stained sheets towels old and thorn ,reception desk don't care, never got a wakeup call, laundry done in the middle of walk way, very unhygienic someone should send the health department 😉. Good value hotel
We had a very enjoyable stay. Room good size and clean. Friendly staff and good value for money. Pool area needs some TLC, sunbeds in need of replacement. But in all we would definitely stay again.

Hostel standard.
Absolutely nothing good to note. Air conditioning that sounds like a fire alarm, shower that dribbles water so cant actually use, bed sheets that are yellow, doors that dont lock. Genuinely shocked that this would even be given a 1 star ive stayed in better hostels as a kid !

No pub No restaurant No pool.
This hotel had no bar and no restaurant open. This hotel was freezing. This hotels pool was closed and not open until May The porter opemed the bar for a couple of hours. But the beer was put of date absolute disgrace

Perfect base for traveling
The people on reception were very nice and helpful. Arrived late and was no bother at all. The apartments themselves were a decent size, just a bit dated but nothing too bad. We went before the season started so outdoor pool wasn't open. No problem though they had an indoor one. We just used it as a base and bis stop and shop just down the pathe from here.

Good Value, Great Staff & Beautiful Location
Great Staff and very welcoming with great explanations of how the hotel works, the room was great for the value and in good condition. The location of the hotel is close to the water and close to local transport to get around to other parts of the island.

Nice penthouse with a view
The penthouse was great! Top floor overlooking the bay. All equipments were nice. The resort is a little old but well renovated. Staff members were nice and welcoming. The bed comfort is OK but not the best. Kitchen is nice and well equiped. We would have appreciated dishwashing liquid and something to wash the dishes. Overall, a great stay.

The place to be for peace and relaxation.
We just love Porto Azzurro for its peaceful location. This is our forth time staying here and we will definitely be back again and again. The staff are really nice. This is like our holiday home.

Big and spacious flat with 2 bathrooms, fridge, kitchen... excellent for family. Swimming pool, no extra fee for air conditioning. Stayed in 3 hotels in Malta/Gozo, this one was the best value for money!

Staff very nice and welcoming. My room was basic but fulfilled its purpose i.e you get what you pay for. It’s a 3* hotel- clean room and facilities and comfortable bed. The ceiling fan creaked probably out of age. Air con nice and strong. The hotel has its own pool which is nice to have breakfast next to or sit to take sun. Overall pleasant stay and good if you’re not looking for luxury just a clean place to sleep with very pleasant staff. Lots of hand sanitiser available too and mask policy

great hospitality — unbeatable location
The best thing about this hotel is the hospitality of the ladies at the check-in desk. From my call ahead of time to the minute we left to go home, Stephanie, Jo and Jan made us feel like family and helped with everything we needed. The pool is beautiful and the location is so convenient, close to a fabulous hike through ancient dwellings and to the harbors for visiting Comino and Gozo.

Friendly staff, the apartment we had was fairly well equipped. The kitchen area was very tired and the cupboards could have been cleaner. I mentioned this on departure. Since it was February we did not use the pool but it looked nice. The area is quiet with only 3 or 4 places to eat, although there is a bar and restaurant at the property. Bus services are very good to Bugibba which is very lively.

The hotel was shabby, our room certainly didn’t look like the photos. The reception staff were lovely , very helpful. We ate in the restaurant a couple of times, the food was good.. There is a little cafe round the corner from the hotel, we went for breakfast, it was very good.

Another wonder stay
As usual the Aparthotel was an amazing stay. The staff are amazing. The hotel is clean and comfortable. The views of the bay and countryside were stunning, from our balcony. The sound of the birds from the bird nature reserve, opposite, was beautiful to wake up to. It was our third stay there, and not the last!!!

Huge room, nice view, comfy bed, enjoyed every minute. Not English Tv channels, but good wi-fi. Not much to do in Xemxija, bus stop near by. Beautiful lady on reception, very helpful, Man City fun :-)

Aneragely average.
Very good location. Had big pool and lots of sun loungers and bar/restaurant, but the hotel bar and restaurant looked closed for the season. Rooms had nice views of the sea at the front or the countryside at the back. Nice restaurants and a bistro nearby. Good public transport right outside the hotel to all parts of Malta. The hotel was clean and offered comfort and cleanliness.. We had to change rooms on our first night because of a small leak from the ceiling, but we were immediately given another room of similar standard. Breakfast was disappointing. A machine dispensed very weak apple or orange juice, and carried a request not to take too much! Similarly the hot water dispenser forbade more the 2 teabags. Hot “English”breakfast was offered on request, but only ready cooked (some time ago!) dried up scrambled egg and over cooked bacon was available. The cook said he couldn’t fry an egg. Reception staff were on duty 24/7 and did what was required, but were not particularly friendly. For a holiday on a budget, it did what it said on the can.

NOT RECOMMENDED!!
It was the worst hotel that I have ever stayed. The room was dark and so old. You could easily hear the voice of other people from other rooms and in the hall. The hairdryer in the room didn't work and you have to go to reception and ask for a hairdryer. In the third day, there was no shampoo in the room and I was told that usually they put Shampoo in the firs day and you have to buy yourself thereafter. The reception staff in the morning were not friendly. The only good thing was the breakfast. Generally NOT RECOMMENDED!!

What nightmares are of.
I have traveled a lot and experienced some bad, good and great places to stay when away from home, this place however took me and my family to a completely new level of dissatisfaction and disappointment. The rooms are nothing like what is advertised and completely dirty. How they even got three stars I am shocked, more like a 1 star.
