Very friendly staff who were so warm and welcoming. The room itself was lovely and comfortable with lots of nice amenities. Situated in the Bugibba area where there is lots to do a short walk away, and lots of bus stops nearby to take us to different parts of Malta. A great stay!

What a shame
The Hotel itself was fine. The food was adequate. It is a shame that building works are currently happening and that it meant the streets were dirty and bordered on dangerous. Not the Hotel's fault but it will soon be hemmed in by these buildings

Such a friendly hotel in a great location. Our room was really spacious, clean and cool considering we were there during August and it was really hot. It was great to have a fridge in the room. The breakfast was really good and staff were all friendly. We loved the multicultural and friendly vibe. It felt like a home from home!

Extremely friendly and helpful staff. A lovely large room, but unfortunately not much of a view due to other high-rise buildings surrounding the property. The level of cleanliness was excellent, and all credit to the staff for keeping up the standards. This hotel is in a quiet part of the town, away from all the hustle and bustle of the built-up areas, so it's nice and quiet. If you want the bars and restaurants, they are only a 10 minute walk away, as is the beach.

Had a lovley stay here last week. Decor a little dated and food not reallt to mt taste however i do believe they were offering a reduced menu in the current situation and im a very fussy eater. Staff lovley and welcoming and the included boat trip around the harbour was fabulous as a frequent traveler to malta ot was nice to experience something new. We stayed for 3 nights and moved onto a larger sea front hotel which cost considerably more however found with the current sitiation we were alot more comfortable in this hotel, they were not over crowded which easily enabled social distancing whilst still enjoying the facilities. Overall for the price at this time of year its fantastic value

My hotel experience with II Palazzin was okay. The beds were hard. I was not fond of the breakfast that was served. I can attribute this to having a different diet. There was the instance where I left the “do not disturb” sign on my door but when I return at the end of the day my room had been serviced anyway. The hotel is okay but I cannot say that I would stay at this establishment again nor would I recommend it to friends.

Nice Clean Hotel
Second time staying at the hotel after visiting two years ago. It's in a good inland location, close to both Qawra and Buggiba seafronts, with the main bus station a few minutes walk away. Rooms are very clean and functional, well cleaned on a daily basis. Buffet style breakfast is good quality, and very well stocked and it has a lovely bar/TV lounge next door. The only problem was out of the hotel's control, which is a lot of building going on adjacent to the hotel. They start around 6am, but surprisingly, the noise didn't seem to be much of a problem. My first floor room was classed as sea view, and it did have a nice view of the sea. Sadly, if as it appears, they are adding higher floors to the construction, I don't think it will remain a sea view room once the building work is completed.

Our room was exactly like the photo in your site with a private balcony/terrace and coffee/tea service (that we didn't make use of as we don't like Nescafe). Dinner was excellent as was the very abundant breakfast. What we did not like was the fact that the indoor pool closes at 6pm and as we checked in around that time we could not make use of this facility. So we were restricted only to our bedroom and the restaurant.

Great hotel. Quiet part of Qawra, which can be hard to find. We went half board. A smaller selection than some places but fine for what we wanted. Great staff that were just there when you needed them. My only complaint is that the mattresses were so hard it was difficult to get a decent night's sleep. We loved the vacinity and quietness of the hotel. They do not off AI which keeps things this way. We had a fabulous week.

There were building works all around the hotel which wasn’t mentioned when booking. Very noisy and all you could see was cranes! We booked a double room with sea view but were given two singles beds and views of building works instead. When we asked for a double room were told none were available. However, another couple asked for a double room and were given it. Very disappointed.

A lovely place to stay
Travelling on my own, l was a little nervous about staying here. However, the staff were very welcoming and helpful without being obtrusive. The food was excellent and plentiful all week, the room spotless and cleaned daily, and l had a very good time here.

Great staff, pleasant hotel in Qwara
Can certainly recommend hotel, staff excellent, friendly helpful & polite. Cleanliness spot on, bed linen changed everyday as well as towels, with the option to reuse & save policy. Food buffet style, breakfast included in stay with plenty choice, sausage more hotdog type but bacon good and egg type changed everyday, continental meat & cheese, salad, fresh fruit & yogurt, croissants & Nutella yummy & they have HP sauce, if you ask. Evening meal again buffet at an extra charge €10 great value. Options changed every night, soup, pasta dish & salads, plus 2 meat choices & 1 fish dish.... sometimes maybe not exactly as expected but good quality produce (lamb curry was more like a fruity stew...but lamb was delicious & tender) cake, fruit, cheese & crackers & ice cream/cream if you ask. The only negative was the lack of sunny lounge areas, unfortunately, pool was in the shade majority of day... this is maybe a positive in the very very hot summer but not so good in October. There is a very small roof terrace with a few sun loungers but not pretty. The small indoor pool (4m x 4m & 1.2m deep) on the floor 6 There is building work around but this is a Malta wide issue, demolition of buildings completed, so dust not so much a problem but 2 cranes in view. Overall, pleasant stay, great value for money, quiet location and excellent service from all members of staff

A lovely hotel where all the staff work very hard to make your holiday special. Breakfast and Dinner were excellent with plenty of choice but not too much that you were having the same every day. I will go again and people we talked to were regular visitors to the hotel.

I never plan to spend much time in the hotel when I’m holiday as I’m far more interested in getting out to explore where I’m staying. So I can’t understand some of the reviews picking at ridiculous things like staff not standing when addressing you; it’s not 1901 anymore! These people need to get out more. The hotel staff here are so friendly and I was made to feel very welcome as a solo traveller. The hotel is located close to the sea front and to nearby bus stops which link you to the Cirkewwa-Mgarr ferry (approx 45 mins on bus) to the North of the Island (if you’re heading to Gozo) and to Valletta in the South. There are also good bus links to the airport. The hotel is clean. The corridors are a bit dated and could do with a spruce-up, but the rooms are acceptable and cleaned daily. The breakfast is basic, but again, for the cost of the rooms it is acceptable and was perfectly fine for setting me up for my long days of island trekking! I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again if I came back to the St. Paul’s Bay area.

More like a BB rather than a 4 star hotel! Lots of work needed to even get 2 stars! We had to sleep on a bed made out of chip board with a mattress. Carpet outside the room looked like it had not seen a vacuum cleaner in months. Worst hotel I have ever stayed in. Ended up going somewhere else

Clean and tidy room with good A/C. We had a cheaper room but it was fine, though the view was to the side building site. The staff were very pleasant and helpful, especially James in the bar and restaurant. The breakfast was good, with a reasonable selection of items. Dinner was poorer; more like a canteen but frankly a wide ranging buffet for ten Euros represents good value in an area where eating out can be expensive. Tip: eat early while the buffet is fresher. The exterior pool is compact and some loungers in need of repair but the area is clean and pleasant. There is now building construction on one side but most rooms overlook the finished new builds to the front. We used a hire car and used found street parking (free) nearby but this will become more of a problem when building in the area of Qwara is completed. We were pleased with our choice of hotel and felt it represented good value for the area. We would happily book again if looking for a hotel in the area.

The staff were fantastic, really helpful and informative. Double room was 2 single beds pushed together which wasn’t what I expected from a middle priced hotel. The main negative was the poolside - the sun beds were mostly all broken or damaged and there were very few parasols available (5 max) and a couple were broken and didn’t stay up.

Wonderful hotel with great staff.
The hotel stay itself was wonderful, and the manager Simon was so friendly and helpful with many things. The only thing we weren't super impressed with was the food. The hotel was clean, the area close to some amazing restaurants and our tour meeting places, and the staff was great!
