Loved our stay at Hilton, it was everything what they advertised for, the breakfast was amazing, with a huge high-quality continental spread including some Indian veg options which was really unexpected :) The staff was polite and never said no for anything, we were really pampered during our stay. The high point was when they accepted our request for Indian Masala chai (Spice Tea). 5 star rating from us.

Enjoyed our stay. Breakfast and dinner was very good. Lovely ambience and beautiful outdoor and indoor pools. The gym and sauna was also very good. Hotel is situated about 10mins walk to Paceville, where you have the bars, clubs, cinema, the beach and shopping mall. Also within easy commute by bus or taxi to anywhere in Malta - perfect location. The night life in Paceville is the best in Malta. The hotel staff were very friendly and always ready to assistant.

I booked a deluxe sea view room. The room I got was beautiful, clean and newer than other rooms. The sea view was partial and there was a big building structure right that blocked half of the view. Upon speaking to the desk I was transferred to a different room which had better sea views and when in balcony you can really enjoy the sea view and beautiful sunset. The second room was an older room and too my shock the bed creaked every time I would move or turn in the bed. I couldn’t sleep the whole night. I complained to the front desk who said they will take care of it. No activity took place so I called again in afternoon, stressing I couldn’t sleep and the problem has to be fixed. After that the manager and his team did fix the issue partially by using screws and left a note in my room. The bed still made some noise when you would sit on it but at least not when you were in it and turned, so I did get sleep that night. Next day was checkout and front desk called to see if all was going week and when I contemplated late checkout the lady was more than willing to esp as a good will gesture because of the issues I had. But I didn’t need the late checkout. At checkout the lady was not very polite and said but they fixed the issue with no acknowledgement that that should not have happened. This is a 5star hotel and sleep is the main reason one books a room. The quality and customer service was not acceptable and hence this review.

Great property but some things need maintaining! Very clean overall but for example the refrigerators in the room were not working (not cold) or the sliding door to the balcony in one of our rooms wouldn’t open. We asked the reception and they kindly said they’ll come and fix but no one came. The food (breakfast and dinner buffet) definitely needs improvement. 42 euros per adult for dinner buffet was definitely too high for the lack of food options or the taste and quality. Overall very clean, our room housekeeping lady , AURA) was very thorough with our room cleanings, always made animal shaped towels for our boys and left them sweets and treats.

The good: - Spacious, comfortable room with sitting area - Pools and gym both good - Housekeeping staff excellent, room very clean - Lovely, helpful concierges - escorted me to my destination when I was lost! Not so good - Large, impersonal hotel. - Front desk staff variable in terms of helpfulness - They have some sort of automated mini bar and tried to charge me for multiple items at checkout, none of which I had used. I was just moving stuff around to fit in my milk! They had to send somebody to the room to check all was present and correct and then they removed the charge. Made me feel like a criminal. - The hotel car park is part of a grim underground car park and the signage is rubbish. Took us a couple of days to work out where to park and how to pay. Front desk should explain this better at check in.

Our minibars are equipped with sensors that are triggered when any item is moved out of place for longer than 30 seconds, at which point it is assumed that the guest has chosen to consume the item, and it is charged to the room bill. We are happy to empty the minibar in any room if a guest requires space for medicines or baby food or any personal item, but if no such request is made, the moved/removed items are automatically billed. If, as in your case, the items were only moved to a different space, our team members at the Front Desk are pleased to make the necessary adjustments to the bill after a degree of verification. We are sorry that we did not handle this as sensitively as we could have; please be assured that there was no intention to cause embarrassment.Portomaso Car Park is not part of the hotel, though our guests are welcome to park their vehicles there. The hotel was very beautiful, very relaxing with stunning views. The bedroom was spacious with a large balcony area facing the pool and the house keeping team worked very hard each day to clean it. Staff were very attentive and helpful. One area for improvement would be the food service. Stayed half board, and on the first night the steak took more than 40mins to arrive. Service in the restaurant seemed very slow despite it being almost empty. But service improved later on. On the other hand, the Thai restaurant was busy, beautiful decor and food incredible, definitely worth the visit. Also the dinner a la carte menu could have been more varied, maybe a new special each day. Ordered room service and the club sandwiches were burnt. Fedback to the service manager who seemed keen to address these issues. Would also say that we didn’t particularly find the buffet breakfast enjoyable - crowds of people each morning, and items weren’t topped up regularly eg orange juice stations and smoothies. However great selection of food, omelette stations and staff coordinating the tables smoothly. All in all, a pleasant trip, with the room itself and the hotel property being the star of the show.

The staff were extremely polite couldnt fauly any of the dozens we met. However, the toilets in the rooms were very dated and really made it feel like a 3* room definitely needs modernising. The car park is also a complete maze no one explained where we should park there were so many fifferent levels and sections as the car park facilitates the entire complex. Each floor has upper and lower levels and it takes forever to work out the system which again no one explained. One day it took 45mins to get the car out as we couldnt find the car as yiu dont know where the internal lift goes and once we foind our car we then found out we needed the hotel porter to let us out of through the underground barrier for that particular section so had to go all the way back in which is quite a walk. Car park was the biggest let down.

Fantastic stay at the Hilton Malta! The staff was so friendly and accommodating . Plenty Of choice to eat and all options really nice . The breakfast buffet exceptional. The spa and pool amazing. Rooms great size and hood location on island to get around . Highly Recommend .

This property is beautiful with great pools and an adult area option. The food was ok but i feel its overpriced. The alcoholic cocktails were weak but expensive. Service was good and staff were helpful.
