Ok, but would not return.
We have stayed at Club Pollentia for two weeks in July this year; we found the staff very friendly, the room maids very efficient and the reception very helpful. At breakfast there was plenty to choose from and would think that most tastes are catered for and if you like buffet dining, the evening meal was quite good, if not on full board they cost 25 euro’s each. The resort has two pools, an adult pool and a family pool, we went for breakfast at about 8.15 am and usually every sunbed around the adult pool had a towel on it but only about four people actually sat on them. In the two weeks we stayed there we never managed to get a sunbed there. Around the family pool was not much better, most of the prime places being taken and later on in the day finding a place in the shade was very difficult but not impossible. We stayed in the standard Maris room which was adequate but not exactly plush, good air conditioning but we found the ceiling fan was good enough but there are no coffee making facilities which we found rather substandard for a four star rated resort. The bathroom flooded several times in the first room we were given and it took quite a bit of ‘discussion’ at the desk to get another room allocated to us, but finally they did. The resort is quite isolated but there is a regular bus route just outside that takes you into Porto Pollentia or Alcudia which allegedly comes every fifteen minutes.
