Best holiday!

Posted 23-May-2017
We could not find a fault with this hotel! We are a family with a child just about to turn 2. The staff were so friendly and great with our daughter. We had a couple of minor issues - our power went out and we couldn't work out how to use the safe - after calling reception someone came straight away and resolved the problem. Gorgeous pools and a smaller heated one. Food had a great selection at the restaurant - vegan, gluten free options all clearly labelled. New things to eat everyday and lots of fresh food cooked in front of you. Good location 10 mins away from 2 great family beaches. Lots of activities going on in this hotel and looks like it caters well for sporty people! Would definitely recommend and would go back again!

2nd stay at Club Pollentia

Posted 12-May-2017
Great resort, previously stayed in 2012. Chose to return with our 7 month old baby and it did not disappoint. Still a really good complex, helpful and friendly staff. Resort is geared up with spa facilities and for cyclists.

Great hotel and great location for cyclists

Posted 08-May-2017
Pros: Great location and facilities. Gorgeous spa and very helpful multi lingual staff. Really good service.
Cons: We had a village room and the bathroom was a little tired. The spa treatments get booked very quickly so you are not always able to get one.
Great hotel. Very good poolside restaurant. 2 pools - one is adult only with it's own restaurant and bar area. Very popular with cyclists. 2 bike shops on site. Very short bus ride into Pollenca and Alcudia.

Superb facilities and kids entertainment

Posted 28-Apr-2017
We had a really good experience. My 4 year old daughter had an amazing time with the entertainment team. I do think they need to restrict cyclists from cycling on all the walkways, there are a number of cycling teams that use the resort and they speed along the walkways with little regard for children and families. That aside, everything else was brilliant and the staff were very friendly and accommodating.

Excellent facilities for cycling & family holiday

Posted 23-Apr-2017
We stayed at Club Pollentia Resort for a week in April and were very happy with our experience. The facilities are outstanding - outdoor pool including heated mini pool for kids, indoor pool and spa area, cycling rental and shop. The hotel is very popular with triathletes. We were staying with a toddler and a baby so took advantage of the big playground, the very friendly (free) kids' club and daily night entertainment. The website frankly doesn't do it justice. The spa area is the best I have seen anywhere. Only letdown is that the food is a bit generic buffet style but for us, with young children, this was okay. And certainly overall, it is very good value. We are coming back again next year!

Shouldn't be 4 star hotel...

Posted 22-Apr-2017
This review is for families with young children. We are a family of 4 with a baby. The standard room doesn't have a bath. The rooms smell a bit of sewage if your lo has problems. The rooms are outside a busy motorway road. It is noisy. Specifically rooms beginning A and G we got moved between but same problem. 3 days we asked for the sheets to be changed and they just put the same ones back on. The two heated pools they claim to have. One is for adults only, not specified. 4 restaurants...2 are for adults only. You can't go to one of the bars with children. The food is nice, child friendly. Great staff in the restaurants. Terrible at reception and the hobby club. If you have kids 3 or younger they say there is nothing to do lol..go to the mini golf and splash pool. It's nice and clean. But not heated for the 5 days we were there. Overall it's a good place. We've stayed in plenty of 4,5 stars etc. Great for if you are adults only. Cycling, swimming, tours etc. But with kids in April, I wouldn't... I'd say 3 stars most.. They should open all facilities to everyone, if not even for short periods of time.

Very nice hotel, staff, facilities everything

Posted 21-Apr-2017
Pros: Everything! Staff, facilities, location, food, environment, atmosphere etc. Would love to come again
Cons: I think the prices of massages were a bit too high
Location: theres almost everything youd want to do on a nice relaxing holiday e.g. scuba diving, snorkelling, tennis, squash, gym, spa etc. I tried everything!
Terrific. Would love to come and stay again, probably when the weather is a little bit warmer!

Good hotel, great food

Posted 13-Apr-2017
Very happy with our stay. Stayed in a suite which wasn't much more expensive than a room but gave a lot more space. Furnishings were a bit more dated than the newer rooms but comfortable and clean. Staff were all very friendly and helpful. We were full board and the food was fantastic. Great range to choose from. Went early April and hotel was quite quiet. Mostly cyclists. No one apart from us in the pool, which was freezing! Had a problem on our last night when a lawn sprinkler malfunctioned and poured water into our room in the middle of the night. Staff came quickly to turn it off but didn't help us out with dealing with the water and the room smelled strongly of seawater afterwards. Sure it would have been sorted if it was on an earlier day and not when we were just checking out. Otherwise very pleased with everything.
