I absolutely cannot fault my mini break spent at the Universal Hotel Neptuno. All front desk staff, in particular, German and Daniel, were extremely helpful, patient, bilingual and approachable. The ideal that you want and expect from any hotel front desk abroad but rarely receive in reality. However this was the case for me, so checking in, booking excursions, recommendations for places to eat out, directions, booking taxis, holding my luggage after check out, any additional requests etc etc were all made easier by having such a client focused dedicated front desk. Thank you again to German and Daniel. Also huge credit to the cleaning staff who made my room so presentable and such a huge pleasure to return to each day. Other services such as pool, restaurant, sauna, gym, having a beach front view were such a delight to enjoy too. I would certainly recommend this hotel to any one visiting Palma De Mallorca. Richard

The staff were absolutely amazing, especially Mariano from the front desk who solved every little thing we requested with a smile and fast. I would absolutely recommend this hotel especially if you like the party scene that Mega Park provides.

Great staff - the housekeeper was stellar. The servers were kind and attentive. Pilar was kind and did an excellent job in surprising my husband for his birthday. The cake was fabulous and the prosecco was nice too. Honestly, the only down was the kids partying all night around the hotel, but this is not in the hotel's control. Would recommend the hotel for sure!

The staff are exceptionally good, they are so helpful and friendly and it's totally chilled within the hotel and pool area. However, the general area outside is a party area, with many many groups of young people who tend to be very noisy, although no trouble. The rooms are well designed that they are totally noise-proof and therefore quiet for sleeping.

Love the hotel peaceful atmosphere. All the staff were so helpful and kind. Even though a large nightclub was close by this wasn’t allowed to be a problem to the guests all issues had been covered to ensure we were not disturbed. All in all a very pleasant stay with good food ; friendly staff and a jacuzzi bath !!!😊😊

The indoor pool and the sauna are great if you travel in March. We loved the buffet breakfast and dinner - very friendly waiters and excellent value for money. The lobbies and the common areas are very moderns and tastefully decorated. The bathrooms are however bit outdated, but clean. There is no entertainment in English in the room - the TV channels are mostly in German or French, no English or Spanish newspapers either, only German. There are a lot of additional extras, like pool towels, or bathrobes, but the leaflet given to the guests does not give the price, so you have to ask the front desk for the price if you want to use them. The person who checked us in was not very informative, no wifi password was given, no info about buses, bikes, local map, or things to see and do. The front desk is definitely the weakest point of this hotel, but overall a beautiful hotel in a lovely spot. The room was very quiet at night which was appreciated!

3rd time stay Fabulous
Our 3rd time staying here and as usual we felt like royalty The manager went above and beyond to make us feel at home and very welcome. The hotel is amazing and feels more like a villa , the decor is beautiful and the rooms are Super comfortable triple glazed and very peaceful. Right from the start of our stay each member of staff always treated us with respect and a happy cheery manner , nothing was too much trouble. The food is stunning and mixes local cuisine with the tastes of the current residents we never went hungry! We will be going back a 4th time nrxt year

Nice hotel on the beach
Dinning time was too short when we arrive at the Hotel at 8PM checked in we were told to go dinner will be finished 9PM so we went quickly and there was no drink included even juice for child no kettle and coffee tea in the room apart from that we had pleasant stay with nice sea view from balcony sitting rocking chairs very clean swimming pool.

Very nice hotel
I booked this hotel based on the good reviews and I wasn't disappointed. It is a lovely hotel, very clean, excellent food and great customer service. It is a very busy resort with a massive club next door, however once the doors are closed there is no noise. I noticed that main tourists are Germans and yes they were loud at times but nothing to worry about. No fighting or anything like that.

Cosy and close to the beach!
Very good location, pleasant staff at the hotel, and awesome food at the hotel restaurant! We were there with baby, and facilities as well as the hotel staff were baby friendly. We would most definitely visit again and recommend hotel to our friends (only issue noticed was sound isolation - we could clearly hear chairs moving in the other rooms and etc. but that could be related with the particular room that we were in).

Quirky interesting hotel with lots of seniors
Nice hotel, but a few quirks. I liked the included dinner, which was decent - though watch out they try to charge u extra for drinks at dinner buffet. Indoor pool was very nice and warm, but no locker room area or free towels. Also apparently, while there, we discovered that this is actually a hotel used by a LOT of senior citizens - apparently there are entire dancing events and board games for seniors - which was cute, but not exactly exciting for young couple like us. We felt like we were living in a retirement community surrounded by seniors who play cards and playing solitaire all day long (but maybe its just the time of year in Feb before summer arrives). this hotel is also next to a big night club, but it wasn't open while we were there, but watch out for noise in the summers (as other reviewers agreed). also, hotel tourism tax extra - which they collected via cash. And gym closes at a ridiculously early 7pm -- why can't they just keep it open later??? c'mon management

Nice hotel, appalling Germans everywhere!
Perfectly lovely hotel, super clean and comfortable, staff a delight. Only problem is, there are literally no other Englich people for 40Km. The whole area is full of Germans, which would be fine if they weren't blind drunk from the early morning. They play Eurovision style music loudly on the beach, and stagger around, breaking into song and removing wet costumes and drying themselves carefully in full view. The local restaurants are poor quality and serve mainly sausage and snitzel. Menus are in Spanish, German and Dutch, so you will need to be bilingual order. 3 days was about our limit.

Myself and my 8 yr oldarrived in the hotel in the afternoon from the airport. We were greeted by this initially confused receptionist and then he was quite nonchalant. He asked "how long you stay madam?" 3 times! I stated I had paid for a week and inquired if he had a problem and was told yes! He had a room but it was "not good" that was my room. To get a better room I'd have to pay on top of what I had paid.!! I looked at the room and it smelled like 100 cigs per day were smoked in it and it overlooked a big construction site. So I said I can't go into that room. So he said if you go to another hotel for a night I'll give you a nicer room. I had no option so we got into a taxi arrived to the other hotel and there was a problem!!! Adult only the receptionist from hotel neptuno hadn't noticedthat I was a single lady with child! Back into a taxi and back to the hotel. So what now miraculously a room is available! After an hour and a half of stress he says sorry!! The room was lovely however overlooking a Mega Park with music pumped all day and night. The food and service was good but I would be happy not to stay there again!

Nice hotel
Nice hotel. We enjoyed our stay there. The staff were very helpful and they really are a bunch of good people. From the maids, the reception staff to the restaurant staff everyone was kind. The room are small but clean and comfortable, and it's an advantage if you get a room with the front view on the sea. We will definitely book this hotel again in our next visit to Palma de Mallorca.

Hotel was nice, but air conditioning could be improved. It wasn't working 24/7 and when it was working it never got really cold in the room. The lobby and breakfast area were not air conditioned at all. Breakfast was very good! Overall, a nice hotel but over priced.

Hotel close to the beach
Very well situated across the road from the beach. Nice food nice selection. Good gor a 2 or 3 night break. Only draw back was there is building work directly opposite the hotel which we knew nothing about and it is very noisy.

We had very bed experience with staff on reception. They dont speak english or if they do it is very bed. We spent 30 minutes to explain that our car is missing of they can help us but it was mission imposibile. They didnt understant nothing so they were not helpful for us. We had to call taxi driver to help us with that. That is for shure hotel of 3* and it dont deserve 4*. Also rooms are very small and twin beds and bathroom also. We payed 15€ internet which didnt work. We complained about that but they didnt understand us. We also payed for changig pool towels 1€

Super gelegen. Direkt am Strand. Bus Station nach Palma, nur wenige Schritte entfernt. High live, nur wenige Schritte. Top Restaurants, wenig Schritte. Flughafen Transfer, mit dem Airportbus 10 Minuten. Alles in allem, jederzeit wieder.

Das Frühstücksbuffet ist jetzt nicht der Hammer. Sie geben sich sehr mühe für das anrichten und sind immer sehr freundlich und Aufmerksam. Das Essen von der Karte ist jetzt nicht das was man sich so vom Geschmack her wünscht. Liegt direkt neben dem Mega Park und man hört von da nichts, ausser man ist am Pool aber auch da ist es so wie ein Nebengeräusch. Ansonsten würde ich def. nochmals in dem Hotel Buchen.

Komme gern wieder. Das Bad (lockere Armaturen) und auch die Vorhänge im Zimmer waren schon sehr in Mitleidenschaft geraten. Hier wäre dringend mal eine Reparatur notwendig.
