Not as great as expected. No bike renta available though it is advertised as a main thing, you have to reserve 7 days ahead- no info about it anywhere. Hot tub was cold. Room had no body wash, seemed like decor was missing. Breakfast was great though staff seems to be busy and stressed not too guest oriented.

Relaxing and beautiful location
Idyllic location, great facilities (including the spa), with excellent food and very friendly and hospitable staff throughout our visit. The terrace in particular was a magical place to relax and enjoy a leisurely breakfast. We would like to go back again.

A lovely hotel for a relaxing break. We enjoyed using the indoor spa and reading by the pool outside. Breakfast was excellent and on a lovely terrace outside. Very comfortable, clean, large room with a small balcony and a sea view. Staff were very friendly. Highly recommend.

This is not 4star hotel. Old, damaged, dirty furniture, poorly functioning air conditioning, terrible stuffiness in the spa and the ubiquitous smell of chlorine.

A very well run and friendly hotel. Magnificent views. The building itself is nicely proportioned and well built with no fussy details. We had a junior suite which was a good size, one small gripe, the room ac is fairly ineffective, meaning the nights were pretty warm.

Clean, luxurious, great breakfast.
Very clean, loved the balcony in our suite, and the spa was great. Excellent buffet breakfast. Unfortunately the sofa bed wasn't very comfortable, but overall, it was a luxurious and enjoyable stay.

We went for my birthday for 1 night , but enjoyed it so much we stayed an extra night . The views were amazing , the spa was the best I have ever used and the staff so friendly and helpful , in particular Anna on reception

Good base for hiking and biking in Tramuntana moun
Very helpful, friendly staff. Great location for walking down to a lovely little beach, incredible swimming in clear water. On a road but not too busy. Swimming pool quite small but plenty of sun loungers. The restaurant was excellent and not too expensive.

Overnight in Estellench
Overnight stay to visit Estellench. Comfortable hotel with a great view from the room and tasty food. The spa was also great. I would highly recommend the hotel if visiting beautiful Estellench.

Just fabulous, in a beautiful Mallorcan village, the spa was superb, couldn't fault it in any way, pool area was second to none, plenty of beds even in when travveles in peak season

Relaxing & quiet
Looking to chill, relax and nice Mallorcean food this is for you. Small village not so easy to get to, good idea to hire a car if you don't mind windy roads. Fab views of beautiful west coast for lunch and dinners. The quiet village with fabulous sunsets well worth it.

Relax in comfort
All in all very good, especially the rooftop pool and sea view. The breakfast buffet is also excellent. May not be the best option for solo travellers.

Nice hotel in relaxing village
Quiet and relaxing. Small village, only 383 residents. Only 1 very small shop. Couple of really nice places to eat serving Mallorcean food. 2 cafes for breakfast/ coffees. There's a bus service quite frequent but not in evening. A very winding road to get to hotel, may put people off but it's worth it. We hired a car and was handy for visiting supermarket and other towns, but wouldn't look to drive too often. If you want relaxing and getting away from it all worth a visit.

Go for the sunset
The hotel is not super modern and most rooms have two single beds, which we were not thrilled about. However the pool area is lovely, the view from our room was amazing, the staff were great too. I am not sure its a great hotel for a long holiday with kids, but for adults wanting to chill out or/and do some hiking its perfect. This side of the island (we live in palma) is really very special.

Fantastic scenery
Wonderful location, quite laid back and unspoiled. The villages cling to the hill side, tumbling down to the rocky coast. Who needs the Analfi Coast ?

A heavenly place
High standards of service and quality are are the heart of this hotel. Rooms are spacious and have all the facilities one needs. Pools and spa are excellent. Staff are helpful courteous and respectful. They have pride in their hotel. Meal times are civilised and the food is of a good quality. Price of extras is fair. Highly recommended.

Lovely! But a few things could be better.
The reasonably priced Maristel Hotel & Spa is a lovely place in a lovely setting, just as it appears in the hotel photos. The included breakfast was a delicious buffet with plentiful options. My room was clean and comfortable. Overall, I really liked the place and would consider returning. Just three suggestions for improvement: 1-The indoor spa area was supposed to be a relaxing/quiet area, and there were posted signs that said as much. However, when I tried to go, there were lots of children playing there loudly, and nobody from the hotel was enforcing the rules, despite their awareness that this was happening. They just told me I should try again after the kids leave, when really, they should have relocated the kids to the outdoor pool, or insisted that the parents control their kids' behavior, especially in an area, designated by the hotel, for relaxation. 2-It was disappointing, and strange, that there were 3 hot tubs, but they were all filled with cold water. I know it's summer, but still! A spa should have a hot tub. and 3-A 4-star hotel should not charge extra for a reasonable amount of photocopies and the use of the safe in the room.

Great stay at a beautiful place
Nice hotel with great views to a small village in the Sierra de Tramontana. Rooms are big and cozy with pretty big bathroom and a balcony. The views are simply astonishing. It's close to two restaurants and a coffee shop. Recommended.

Pleasant hotel in lovely mountain village.
This was my second visit to this hotel so obviously I am very happy with it. It is a quiet peaceful place where one can enjoy the pleasures of a friendly Spanish village.

Excellent Estellences
Estellences is an immaculate small town set 1 mile up the mountain from a small rocky cove. The hotel is very clean and well maintained with friendly staff. The rooms have excellent views down the valley to the sea. A great place to relax.

Stunning setting
This hotel is located in à beautiful, old Mallorca village. It has character and is surrounded by amazing views. It provides a calm peaceful holiday or short break, especially for people who want to experience Mallorcan life without the hustle and bustle of some of the resorts. There is no beach so not the place for people who want to sunbathe by the sea.

Quiet hotel ideal for exploring west Majorca
Perfect spot for complete relaxation away from it all or hire a car and visit the surrounding mountains and coasts. Valldemossa, Porte D'Andratx, Deia and Soller are near enough to visit for the day.
