Pros: Frühstück direkt am Wasser
Das Hotel wird hauptsächlich von Engländern frequentiert, jedoch sind alle von der angenehmen Sorte.Die Lage des Hotels direkt am Ufer der Bucht ist schon klasse.

Old style glamour with a contemporary twist

Posted 23-Aug-2015
Pros: This hotel is contemporary throughout however it still manages to retain the old style glamour of past eras. The location is lovely.
Cons: Not much! If anything sometimes the service at the bar was a little slow but the hotel was full and they were kept extremely busy!
Location: Excellent location on the quiet edge of the pine walk within walking distance to many lovely restaurants, bars, shops and dive/cycle hire outlets.
Loved this hotel. We had a standard room which was up in the 'attic'; modern, clean and contemporary with a huge bed and very large bathroom with separate walk-in shower. We even had a view of the harbour through the skylight windows. The decor had a nautical edge to it and though neutral had a romantic and homely feel. The location is excellent, on the quieter edge of the Port de Pollensa pine walk within easy walking to lots of very nice restaurants and bars. The hotel bar itself is overlooking the bay and breakfast can also be taken outside on the waters edge. There is a small area for sunbathing at the front of the hotel. we were worried we may not be able to secure a spot as there were a lot of people reserving beds (even though that goes against the hotel policy - no-one was policing it) but there was constant movement throughout the day and we were able to find good spots for sunbathing. There is an outside pool but this is in the shade for the majority of the day. The hotel does have a small fitness room, an indoor pool and a spa but we did not have time to use them. We took a half day trip in the hotel's boat which was very relaxing. It takes a maximum of 12 passengers so it feels very private (only 7 on our trip). The skipper was knowledgeable about the area and we stopped off in a little bay past Formentor for snorkelling and swimming. Although it was the school holidays and there were families staying there, the hotel has a definite adult/couples air about it.

Lovely hotel!

Posted 08-Aug-2015
Pros: Very friendly and professional staff, but not at all stuffy. Nicely decorated, with comfy lounges and outdoor spaces.
Cons: Can't think of anything.
Location: We had a car for 4 days and visited, Palma, Soller, Formentor Lighthouse and beach and the caves at Drach and Porto Cristo.
Excellent room with a balcony overlooking the pool. Being at the far end of the bay meant that it was nice and quite with no traffic noise. The livelier centre of the resort was only a 10-15 minute walk from the hotel along the front, so no traffic and lovely views. Lots of good restaurants along the front and in Church Square, the hotel restaurant was excellent.

Lovely,elegant hotel

Posted 08-Aug-2015
This a lovely hotel. Light, clean airy room, elegant reception and lobby. The air- conditioning is excellent and extremely quiet, easy to have on all night without being disturbed by it. The breakfast buffet is very varied with the best tomatoes And olives I've ever tasted and the dining room is very nice. We ate at the hotel restaurant on the first night in outside part. Good food and idyllic setting as we listened to the lapping of the waves and gentle strumming of Spanish guitar. The beds were also exceptionally comfy! Close to lots of other lovely restaurants too and a few steps away from the beach. Perfect!

lovely but dominated by British guests

Posted 01-Aug-2015
Pros: The decor is understated and tasteful , the rooms are scrupulously clean, the staff are attentive. There is a nice spa with good treatments .
Cons: It's just a shame that it is so overwhelming British , it seemed more like Torquay than Spain.
Location: If you want to see or experience anything of the real Majorca you need a car.
I was travelling alone but spending time with friends at a nearby villa. You would need a car to experience anything of the real Spain as the hotel is in a residential suburb and far from old Pollensa. The guests are mostly British, middle aged or elderly unadventourous types who seem happy to stay put . There is a tiny sun terrace which gets far too crowded but that's not the fault of the owners. There is also a lovely shaded terrace with rocking chairs and a huge lounge. The breakfast buffet is excellent. I treated a group of friends to a paella lunch which was also really good .

Luxury by the sea

Posted 05-Jul-2015
This hotel has totally changed our mindset never to return to the same location as the world is too large to go back to somewhere we have visited before. The location is perfect, the hotel is beautiful and the every single employee was helpful and friendly. We can't wait to return!

Beautiful location -

Posted 05-Jul-2015
Fantastic welcome to this lovely hotel, a 15 minute pleasant walk from the main port area with loads of good restaurants and bars. Good pool area and no problem with sunbeds either here or by the beach. Fantastic breakfast and plenty of options for those with allergies. All in all a fabulous hotel and I can't wait to go back.

Quiet hotel with beautiful views

Posted 29-Jun-2015
Pros: The area, the lounge, the bar and the restaurant.
Cons: If blackout curtains were provided and the air conditioning was upgraded this would be a lovely place to visit.
Location: The pine walk, which passes the hotel is pleasant Cala San Vincente is a short car journey Inca - a monastery an hour away is tranquil
The hotel is very pleasant with a dining area outside overlooking the bay, which is very tranquil. There is also a very nice 'gin bar' next to the restaurant which served drinks and cocktails. As the hotel is at the far end of the pine walk the area is not too noisy or built up and is perfect for a relaxing holiday. However, the pool area is very small with a limited number of sunshades which are taken very quickly in the mornings. Because we went out each morning, we found that it was difficult to find a shady area to sit in the afternoon. The rooms were pleasantly furnished, but the air conditioning unit was not very powerful and the curtains did not block out the street lights or the sun in the morning. As a result, sleep was difficult as we were too hot and the room was too bright. The staff were pleasant and helpful and the lady who serves the eggs at breakfast is lovely, helpful and very friendly to everyone.

Hotel muy bonito en una situación maravillosa

Posted 14-Jun-2015
