Needed tea and coffee making facilities in room, this was non-existent. Toilet roll wasn't replenished by housekeeping. Air con didn't work. Could not fault reception staff but the rest were not great. Short, rude and unhelpful at times. General condition of hotel was good, near shops and pool is great.

Lovely relaxing hotel

Loved this hotel and location. Lovely modern hotel with spacious rooms- including sofa, double bed, dressing table, and nearly all rooma were pool view with big balcony. Lots of couples and some friends in the hotel (ages ranging from 21-60). Plenty of choice for food in breakfast with pancakes, waffles, fruits, full english, cereals etc. Pool was very big with enough sun loungers for everyone. No need to put towels down as there was always room. Restaraunts and bars were about 7 minute walk- and a really nice walk through the village and when walking back at night time it was safe and quiet. Would say can picafort is a lovely place for couples and families (with a gorgeous beach). Best restaraunt was definetly marisco(near the marina), lovely food(not expensive) and brilliang service. And then some drinks in the sky lounge bar on the rooftop there (lovely view and cheaper drinks than the beach front bars). Would definetly recommend this hotel and location and would love to come back.

Reception staff not the happiest, others ok.

Pros: Pool size and location was excellent
Cons: Reception staff, not very welcoming and I have stayed at many hotels for 30 years on the island of Mallorca. a smile would be nice
Location: Great location, if you are self-catering, the Supermarket close by has great value for money.
Overall, pool was lovely and hotel was clean. the daytime silence was often broken by the dull tones of a so called DJ entertainer which spoilt the otherwise peaceful surroundings. Great for families

Nice hotel, close to everything you need

Pros: There was a nice general feel to this hotel with a nice pool, restaurant and friendly staff.
Cons: The carpet on the corridors outside the rooms.
Location: Location is good with quiet surroundings, a nearby supermarket and short walk to shops, bars, restaurants and the beach.
The hotel is nice and clean with a good sized pool for all the family and a quiet pool at the front with cover for those really hot days. The children had a great time and for older children, the water ball games went down really well. The food is good and there are options if you have dietary requirements too, although more labelling would be good. The rooms are comfortable and clean. The only thing that lets the hotel down slightly is the tired looking carpet along each floor, but this is a rather minor point. The hotel is in a good location with quiet surrounding areas, a nearby supermarket and a short walk to shops, bars, restaurants and the beach.

The hotel gave us a smokers room even though we booked non smoking. When we complained they told us to open the windows - what a bad joke. Told us no other room available. Swimming pool area is nice and big. The rooms themselves are big but rundown. Food was 3/10. Very nice honey melon, water melon and pineapple. Some apples and other fruits too. Besides it was really bad. Never seen so fatty meat cuts. Bread just horrible - no whole grain. Other choices also plenty unhealthy. Scrambled eggs tasted like made from egg powder. At least boiled eggs available - as fried eggs swam in fat.

Nice hotel 15 minutes from the beach had nice four days away our only issue was the food at breakfast and dinner had no labels on any of the food so you never new what you was eating so please don't go if you have any allergies

Excellent location

Perfect location about 10 minute walk down to the beach, supermarket right next door (closed on Sunday's) but plenty of little shops dotted around. Very quiet when we went, only a couple of other people sunbathing. Only problem was the cleanliness of a couple pools. The main pool was fine and clean so was the children's with the slides. The other children's pool had a tree which of course shed its leaves. The pool was filled and became murky, it wasn't cleaned during our 4 night stay. The pool round the side under the covers was warm but yet again it was filthy! We went to have a look and flies, leaves were everywhere and generally murky and no way would I go in. Whether they clean the pool weekly or fortnightly I don't know but to be honest it needs to be daily to keep on top of these things. It let the hotel down. It looked newly refurbished with the decking all around the pool and they were building what looked like a bar at the top end. Staff have no consideration for times they do tasks either, as they came out banging on the children's park and mowing the lawn at 11am when we were sunbathing trying to relax. Surely something like this should be done first thing like in main resorts?! Before people start coming out. Or get them done before the season starts. Plenty of restaurants down by the beach, we ate in the pirate one.

Wifi Inexistent, Incompetent Staff

Pros: Pool is huge. No towels.
Cons: Wifi, Staff, Cleanliness of common areas.
When there was no wifi on our room we thought it was because we were in the last building (100m from the main one), but only this one seems to have wifi. When confronted, the receptionist said 'we never have heard this', which is a lie since i've found reviews stating the same problem. Room was clean, but uncomfortable and smelly. I don't understant how this has 4/5 in expedia.
