Mixed bag. Location is great, staff was super friendly, but the room wasn’t what was advertised. A room with a kitchen that didn’t even have a kettle to boil water, or cleaning tools to wash the dishes. After asking reception for these things, they acknowledged the claim but gave us very little of what we asked for. Quite disappointing.

Great visit
Excellent location, good service. I was expecting cleaning "once per stay" but I think they stopped by every other day, so nice surprice. Wifi was disappointed, premium 30e for 7days, and it was 2mbit. Normal is 1mbit.

Apartment was clean, big for a studio and nice and light. Comfy bed. Lovely reception staff. Good value for money. Kitchen utensils quite basic, area not the best if at back of building.

good price, generally clean, but stench of mildew
The receptionists were lovely and the location on the beach (though S'arenal is a godawful neighbourhood) is also convenient. every room has a balcony, yes, but you may be facing the council estate looking building next door. however, at least it overlooks a little rock garden so the air feels fresh and it feels private. My only issue was the bathroom, from which we deduced the smell of mold/mildew was coming. However, everything seemed clean, so I expect, the cleaning was either superficial or that there needs to be a review of the plumbing and draining systems. the smell was pretty bad when we came back from a day of sight seeing and also when we first entered the room, but opening the windows cleared it out (temporarily) within half an hour or so. As for the rest it was generally clean (not under the cupboards) and well-presented. The rooms were rather large, i think, though bare. . . for the price i can't fault it. It was very very cheap. The location, surrounded as it is by German pubs, ugly buildings, and tacky tourist things, lacks all character, is not convenient to the center (last "fast" bus (30mins to Pl. Espanya) stops running at 21:30 and the last "slow" bus (40 mins to Pl. Espanya) stops around 01.00). I will say that while the cycle into Palma is not so lovely after kilometre #5, the bicycle path into Palma is amazing and very very very well done. As advice, I would suggest paying a bit extra to stay in Palma though because there is nothing to do in S'Arenal but sit on the beach and go to biergartens or eat overpriced food and you can do that in other parts of the country while being more conveniently located to see the rest of the island.

Great value hotel when I went in the off season over April 2011. Perfect bus links to airport - direct to catch a bus to the final stop from airport. Also the fast €1.20 number 25 bus goes from just around the corner in Palma. Quite a quiet location having said all that about good links really close to the beach. Helpful and cheery staff too. Can't really say anything bad about my stay.

Would pick this hotel again for sure...
Spent just over a week here at the start of April and it was a pretty good experience especially for the low price. They just finished renovating the hotel so things were pretty nice and shiny. The room was very spacious and also had a huge terrace which was pretty nice. The terrace did not have a view of the Mediterranean but one of the windows did so that was nice. The (brand new flat screen)TV didn't work but we never really cared for it particularly, though the hotel gave us the keys to the safe (which costs like 6 euros/day otherwise) and a complimentary bottle of champagne to make up which was cool. Plenty of storage space and the kitchen is pretty decently stocked in amenities (fridge, oven stove, utensils etc). Overall extremely good value for money and one of the best budget hotels I've been in. However, parking around the hotel (considering the popularity of the location) can be a considerable annoyance, and we were there at the start of the season!

Die Apartments sind zweckmäßig und eher spartanisch eingerichtet. Im Bad hat man bspw. kaum eine Ablagefläche. Der Schlaf-/Wohnbereich ist besser ausgestattet (großer Schrank, Regal, Sitzgelegenheit, Küchenzeile,…). Die Möbel sind etwas abgewohnt. Alles war sehr sauber und das Personal war sehr freundlich. In der Gegend sind viele Restaurants, Kneipen, kl. Supermärkte und Souvenirläden. Man ist in wenigen Minuten am herrlichen Strand. Auch Balenario 5/6 sind in ca. 15 Gehminuten zu erreichen. Der Hafen ist ebenfalls gleich um die Ecke.

Es wird nur sehr schlecht gereinigt. Eine Kaffeemaschine wie in der Zimmerbeschreibung war keine vorhanden. Die meisten Zimmer haben Ausblick auf einen hässlichen Hinterhof oder die abfallübersäzen Seitenstrassen.

Wir haben 3 schöne Tage in der Unterkunft verbracht. Sehr positiv war, dass wir ein Zimmer bekommen haben mit großem Balkon und direktem Meerblick. Wir hatten eine wunderschöne Aussicht. Das Zimmer an sich war ausreichend, jedoch nicht sauber und die Ausstattung veraltet und von minderwertiger Qualität. Die Küche hatte keine ausreichende Ausstattung für 4 Personen. Die Badezimmertür ging sehr schwer auf und zu, so auch die Eingangstür. Für WLAN muss man extra Zahlen. Rezeption ist nicht immer besetzt. Für einen kurzen Aufenthalt, ist diese Unterkunft auf jeden Fall zu empfehlen, wenn man nicht pingelig ist.

Die Unterkunft entspricht nicht den Bildern. Die Ausstattung ist mehr als dürftig und überhaupt vom Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis viel zu teuer. Der seitliche Ausblick vom Balkon in die Hinterhöfe ist ebenfalls nicht gerade prickelnd. Für Ballermanntouristen als Übernachtungsmöglichkeit o.k.

Bereits am ersten Tag haben uns einige Dinge etwas irritiert, etwa die löchrigen Handtücher, das Badezimmer das nach einmal duschen komplett unter Wasser steht. Kein Wasserkocher, Föhn oder eine Fernbedienung im Zimmer. Am ersten Abend, Freitag 22.09.2019 hat dann um 16:30 die Spülung unserer Toilette den Geist aufgegeben. Wir sind sofort zur Rezeption um um Hilfe zu bitten. Der Rezeptionist hat uns versprochen sich darum zu kümmern Als wir nach dem Abendessen in unser Zimmer kamen, funktionierte die Spülung für genau einen Toilettengang. Nach weiterer Nachfrage wurde uns mitgeteilt das kein Techniker mehr kommen wird, und es auch keine freien Zimmer für einen Tausch gäbe. Somit mussten wir den Rest unseres Urlaubes die Toilette an der Rezeption benutzen. Sie können sich vorstellen das es sehr unangenehm ist jedesmal vom 2. Stock in das Erdgeschoss zu fahren um dort die Toilette aufzusuchen, die nicht unbedingt den europäischen Hygienestandards entsprach. Selbiges gilt für die nächtlichen Toilettengänge. Alles in Allem einfach inakzeptabel. Wir haben ein Apartment gebucht, welches DEFINITIV eine funktionierende Toilette miteinschließt.

The true is that you arrived friday 20 of september for two nights, and at the evening of second day you have complained about broken flash of wc and some water in the bathroom. Unfortunately, there is not 24 hours maintenance service in the hotel, then our house master has been able to come only at the next morning and it was precisely your departure day. Regarding the TV remote control and hair dryer, you could pick them up at the reception at any time, without any extra charges, also it was specified at your welcome list, that we give you on check-in. Anyway we apologize for all inconvenience caused and we offer you special discount for your next booking in any hotel of our company. Best regards

Die Unterkunft hat eine gute Lage, das Personal war sehr freundlich und es war ruhig, trotz der Nähe zum Ballermann. Das Apartment hat das Nötigste und das Bad war ebenfalls gut ausgestattet. Würde ich sofort wieder buchen!
