Nice new and modern property. Comfortable room with view of the Castle. Hotel literally across the street from the Castle! Easy 5 min walk over. Excellent dinner in restaurant! Free parking.

I really loved the fact that I could upgrade to a 4* apartment for a reasonable fee. The room was absolutely gorgeous, with a very large and comfortable bed. The bathroom and room were very clean; basically nothing beats a recently built property where you feel that things are new and very clean. I also loved the fact that it was very warm in the room, it helps to have excellent heating in the middle of winter when temperature hits negatives. I loved the lobby, too; very London vibe to be able to sit there and work in the morning. The breakfast is also very nice and I personally loved the mushrooms and the ikra / taramasalata they had. Probably one of the best I've had ever. The breakfast is a combo of English and Continental; the basics of scrambled eggs and bacon were good, but also some specific Romanian dips were there. I really liked the fact that the breakfast was included and I did not have to pay for it separately. The other thing I loved is that they have a restaurant next to the hotel and I could have dinner there; they have a very diverse menu, can't imagine that someone would not find something that would make them happy there: I decided to try the hamburger and it was delicious. The people at reception was super nice and accommodating; I needed extra batteries for my medical device and they provided them at no extra cost. Overall, a great stay for me, and I will definitely come back this summer for the garden and the spa that will be opened in a few months!

The building is outdated, tired and due for renovation. There is no electrical outlet in the bathroom and the tub leaked so badly it flooded the floor. The onsite Romanian restaurant was very good, however. Otherwise I would have had to rate the hotel as poor.
