Would not recommend due to management strategy
I selected a 2 in the areas of "review" because these were indicated as "disappointment" which really classifies how I felt. I was expecting a nice holiday beach side 5 star hotel, but came away feeling disappointed and that sucks when you loose some pleasure during a vacation.
The facilities could be 5 start, but the rooms and equipment are worn. Our beds squeeked and probably had 1,000 people in them. The place is perhaps very hi-volume in the summer months, and nothing seems to be updated. The building, tiles, marble all that could be 5 start, but I have stayed in 3 start hotels in better shape for sure.
Let me say that the staff were great. But the management decision to "milk" the guests mean we do not feel we are "guests" by targeted customers. Everything is for sale, the pictures on the walls, the art in the halls, the water bottles, the pool, parking, wifi you name it. Somebody definitively decided in the management chain, ultimately approved by the CEO to have a business where the customer is coming away feeling used and abused. So voila, I would never recommend a place like this to any friend.
One other thing to be aware of is the pool is not family or kids friendly. There are "rules" that limit kids to a couple hours a few times a week. Worse thing, the place sat empty with two girls sitting there doing nothing. There are fees to use the pool on top. Rather than going out to find customers, they push those interested away. So nobody pays. Brilliant leadership
