Pros: Clean rooms
Cons: Clean the drains
Location: Bit out from the main centre
Hotel has a drain problem - really smells on the lobby floor. No tea or coffee making facility in the room. Staff friendly. Don't buy drinks in the Casino. 11 euros for a JD and coke! Most reputable casinos reduce drink prices to keep you playing/ This one rips you off everywhere.

Pros: Nothing
Cons: The Pool Area having a good clean with algae around top of water mark in pool
Location: You had to travel
Just returned from this hotel but I cannot say I think it should have 4 stars rating, more like a 3 or 2 star. Rooms and some of the public areas are looking tired. The food in the restaurant was cold but there was a microwave to heat it up if you wish to, eggs were cooked in bulk and left to go cold on a luck warm hot plate. Complained to the Management who spoke very poor english, never saw the Management in any of the clients areas pool, dinning room only in the reception. States an all inclusive hotel. Only 1 bar and pool bar all inclusive on a limited number of drinks and only small measures unless you payed for them you have to pay at all other bars in the Hotel. Pool was in a dirty condition with dirt and cigarettes end lying around never saw it washed down in 10 the day stay. The big problem with this area there was only one pool attendant to clean / give out towels / carry chairs for wedding parties and this was the problem throughout the Hotel lack of staff. If your looking for an all inclusive hotel , then look else where

Good hotel, nice resort

Good hotel with bars & restaurants etc within walking distance. Rooms are spacious although a little dated. 2 pools plus a kids pool & plenty of sun loungers.

Quiet hotel

Posted 14-Jun-2016
Service very slow. Unable to sit by pool until 10.00am . Pool bar doesn't open till 11.00am.. All inclusive finishes at 11.30pm.? Drinks appear watered down/ weak. Bar / disco closed earlier than stated. English ( women) tend to be made to wait for service, even if you are there 1st, staff tend to serve other nationalities before English. No background music by pool or bars.. 15/20min walk to town. Cleanliness excellent.. No room service after hours .. No tea/ coffee facilities in room. Most staff speak minimal / next to no English. Very large quiet hotel although went early June ? Season not started. Lots of stairs within hotel with only a few lifts for size of it. Lovely position for sea views although no beach.

Excellent but.

Room, pool area and hotel generally excellent. Dining room is tired and hot food is like Spanish hotel food from the 60s and 70s.

Not bad but I'd pick another next time

Posted 21-Apr-2016 on Hotels
The hotel staff was friendly and even upgraded our room to a suite so the room was really big - the size of two large American hotel rooms. The bathroom itself was quite large with plenty of room to move and counter space for toiletries, and though the shower had great pressure the water temperature changed frequently and the width was quite narrow even for a very small woman (46 kilos - 105lbs). It would probably be sufficient of the hotel installed a curved shower rod for the curtain. The balcony was big with a view of both town and the ocean. Breakfast was fine, even if this off-season visit seemed a bit herded and leaves me wondering how they manage when the place is busy. There's nothing really terrible about this hotel, but nothing really remarkable, either. You probably won't be disappointed, but I doubt you'll be impressed. It's good enough.

Air con didnt work

Posted 08-Mar-2016 on Hotels
Mostly a pleasant stay, but The air con in the room did not work and it was very hot. I asked for it to be fixed and the hotel said it wasnt avaiable at that time of year. Fortunately, I was out til late and had a balcony that the door could be opened.

Pleasant views of the sea

Posted 28-Feb-2016
The hotel was difficult to find as the postcode on the website leaves you about a mile away! When we got to the hotel we found out that it is a new address that sat navs don't recognise - but if they know this then they should put that info on the website! We went from 19th - 22nd Feb and apart from being cold and severely windy on the first day, the weather was very pleasant (17-22degs) the rest of the time. When the sky is clear we had lovely views of the sea and hills around. The rooms were clean and comfortable and the staff were lovely. One thing that annoyed us a bit was that are only 3 lifts, one of which was not working so when it was busy (which is was for the sat and sun while we were there) we had to wait up to 10 mins to get up to our room on the 7th floor! One more thing that I found very surprising was that the plates in the restaurant were not clean and still had food stuck on them as I think they were all probably cleaned by a dish washer and not checked manually. This was not a one off but the same for all the plates every day. The buffet for breakfast was good enough, (our package included bed and breakfast) we had no complaints and ate well. However if you don't have full board, avoid eating lunch as its £18 per person for the buffet which is not even that great so you're better off going to a restaurant at a ten mins walk away. The location is good as we had hired a car (parking is free) and were able to drive to Malaga, Córdoba and Granada quite easily
