I liked some points in this hotel, like it was large and spacious, next to the beach, staff are amazing, contains a wide car parking, and the breakfast room was very large and had many options, and the most options are delicious. But there is a note, that at first glance when you enter you think it is luxurious, but when you reach the room you will realize that it is old and in dire need of completely renovating everything in it. The bathroom is old and not completely clean and bad, and the shower is also bad, the beds are old and not that much comfortable and in need of renovation as well.

quick check in, friendly staff, pretty decent breakfast no complaints, if taking small children get them wetsuits as the pool is ice cold, lovely hotel and massive rooms would definitely come back here again, ideally situated (15 mins by taxi to the airport)

Reading some of the negative reviews I don’t agree with the hotel was clean and well run the only downside was there is no English TV but that’s a personal choice for me there was lots of choice for breakfast but unfortunately the cooked breakfast was only lukewarm on the five days I was there that was a bit disappointing

Yes the hotel is dated but the staff are friendly it is clean and comfortable. The pool is great and clean too! We thoroughly enjoyed our time

Very disappointed with my one night here (last night) in room 658. I checked in with a 2 year old and was given a room on the top floor. The balcony was very unsafe for that age so we couldn't use it. I had to go up some steps from reception to get to room with child, pushchair and bags and was offered no help. No glasses in the room to even have a drink of water. Remote control for aircon didn't work. Bottom of the beds we're fraying. But worst of all was the cleanliness. There were dark hairs all over the bathroom, in the bath, on the floor, on the hairdryer. I wiped a section of the carpet in the bedroom with a wet wipe and it was covered in dirt and hairs. A contact lense under the bed. Stain on carpet near fridge. Stain on headboard. Please see attached photos. Completely unacceptable. I will say that the breakfast was very good with lots of options.

Mold in the ceiling of the bathroom and shower, doors about to fall of where the mini fridge was, carpet from 1935 maybe older, lousy pillows, air condition went down and instead of providing a repair ASAP they waited until the next morning at 11:00 for a service Paterson to show up. The gave me a room as a result of the air conditioning being down that made me feel I was in the military barracks.. if you guys rate this hotel 3.75 you need to review the measuring scale you are using this is a 1.5 star at the most.

Poor service, bad needs but clean
The place looks fine, but the service isn't very good. There was someone at the parking pointing us where we could park the car temporarily. He didn't make any attempt top help us out with several heavy bags while holding a baby - he literally watched me walk in and out 3 times. When we arrived at the front desk "they didn't receive any confirmation from hotels.com" - meaning I had to call the customer service to re-send a confirmation. This altogether took almost an hour and wasn't a good experience. The girl at the reception was just following get orders (she said) so no blame on her, but in a future scenario I'd suggest to be more proactive in sorting it out with your suppliers instead of letting me wait. The floor of the room was covered with ants walking around and the bed was extremely hard and had this uncomfortable pillows. The room and bathroom were clean though and the gentleman at checkout was friendly and helpful.

Hotel was run down and rooms quite dated. There was a clear ant infestation at all locations in the hotel from the lobby to the bedrooms, including the beds themselves! Food was ok, however not hot and clearly suited to the majority Spanish clientele Staff were ok, helpful when required but not happy at their jobs which put a negative feel in the hotel. I would not recommend this hotel unfortunatey, massive potential given location but not up to scratch for the 4* rating!

Good location. Excellent facilities. Nice pool area and outdoor bar. Evening entertainment a little loud and could be heard up through the stair well to the rooms.

Perfectly situated between old Torremolinos and Benalmadena. Bus stop in both directions just outside. Short distance to the beach. Beautiful ocean view from the hotel room. And nice pool and garden.

The Hotel is very nice, the location is great (5 minutes walk from the beach, 10 minutes walk from the train station and the center of Torremolinos, and it takes less than 10 minutes by train to get to the airport from the city center) and the room was very spacious. Only one thing... We had bed bugs in the bed. At first we thought it was mosquito bites but now that we're back at home, we have even more bites... They should really do something about that and at the same time, change the mattress that was horrible! Very hard and the least comfortable mattress I ever slept on. They changed the mattress during our stay but it was almost the same. Besides that, there's a very large choice of food in the buffet which is great! (Made us sleep better!) overall it's still a good hotel for the price and the location!

Not much change since last year.
The seventh time we've stayed here and not a lot has changed since last year despite rumours of a makeover. The staff are always friendly and helpful, the rooms are clean and comfortable but a bit run-down and the a/c is reasonably effective and noisy. The food in the restaurant, never great, has gone steadily downhill since the introduction of 'all-inclusive' a couple of years ago. However, there are plenty of good places to eat nearby. The pool area, once quiet, is now very noisy as young families seem to have been attracted by the 'all inclusive' change. Sadly, this also seems to have led to the 'early morning sunbed race' which did not use to be the case at this hotel. The reason we continue to stay here is that it is convenient for a family member who lives near to the hotel. Next year, however, we may look elsewhere.

Smart and tidy hotel, 5 mins to the beachfront, bus stops right outside and taxi company next door. Hard working and very helpful staff were rushed off their feet at meal times but the food and service was good despite this. Room was standard, bathroom as you'd expect but beds could be a little comfier. On the whole nothing to complain about.

Hotel slowly going downhill.
This is the sixth year we've stayed here (2009 to 2014) and if it wasn't for the convenience of it we would have found somewhere else. The rooms are clean and comfortable and the staff are friendly and helpful. The food, which was never a strong point, is now virtually inedible and we are not fussy eaters. The buffets are the same from day to day and are not much better than school dinners. The rapid downhill shift seems to be due to the 'all inclusive' deals they have introduced for the first time i.e. they've got your money so cut corners on the food. Apart from the food, the hotel is okay. Just save your money and eat elsewhere. There's plenty of choice in Carihuela.

Nice hotel. Only downside was our room was slightly tired and dated. Reception staff and cleaning staff very friendly and efficient. Breakfast ok , coffee machines not the best. The pool area was pleasant and we could usually get a sunbed . Very close to a lovely beach, just a short walk away. Be careful crossing the main road as the drivers dont always want to stop!
