I love that the property had a pool however i was given a room with 3 twin beds for just me for 3 days of stay. The property seemed to be maximum booked while i was there. The spa didn’t have water coming out as shown in the advertisement and the gym was less than satisfactory. The gym had some rusty weights. An old rusty bike with an elliptical that wasn’t in a safe condition for anybody looking to exercise in a gym. The staff were always busy and if you sat in the restaurant side without going to the bar first they don’t even serve you. For the same price range you can get better beds and hotels closer to the beach. I will not be staying there again ever. On my third night there i was told i needed to begin to sleep so other people can sleep. When i was simply on the phone. I wasn’t listening to music or partying as people do. Being an adult and being told to go to sleep by hotel staff where i chose to go and paid be there is unacceptable. Don’t waste your money staying here.

I liked that half board was cheap. I didn’t like the noise made by the club at night. The swimming pool was better than most Spanish hotels’ pools.

The hotel is dated . But it’s very clean Beds comfy . Pool small . Cosy . Biggest gripe is the awful breakfast . Everything tasted awful coffee to eggs , ham to tomatoes , croisssants all stale We could not find anything to eat . Chef needs shooting . He’s going to ruin a perfectly decent hotel .

Comfortable, clean stay!
Friendly , lovely hotel. Comfortable stay ( pillows not so comfortable).Very clean . Have spent time on 3 occasions in the past and enjoyed . We always feel at ease when cleanliness is of high standard . Although there is always a salad bar food could be looked at and cater for vegetarians too .On this occasion no evening meal menus available beforehand to view. Glad that tv at night has more channels. In house entertainment not so exciting!

Lovely hotel, very clean and free parking right outside. We stayed here as a base whilst looking at property. Our only complaint was the hard mattresses but if you like that then this is a great hotel

More of a it 3 star hotel rather than a 4star
Stayed 9 nights, this is NOT a four star hotel by european standards I’d say 3 star would reflect the hotel better. Location is ok, about a 20minutes walk from the town (all up hill) and 15 minutes from nearest and most popular beach. Rooms are small, but clean and comfortable. There always a kettle and mugs but no tea, coffee, sugar etc, so why the point of kettle at all?! Staff were generally ok but not overly friendly or helpful. Pool are is nice but again pool is small. We had the breakfast once during our stay, it standard nothing special. There is a supermarket across the road which was handy for water, breakfast etc. hotel has entertainment most nights but we didn’t bother with it.

Not up to standards.
Not central to anything. 20 minute walk either to the beach or to the main hub of the town. No facilities to cater for coeliacs. Was told by the chef that my wife could eat sausages and hash browns for breakfast which would have made her very sick.No decent facilities for kids. Pool area gets crowded very quickly. Some staff very unhelpful. When we asked for an iron we were told that there were none available by one man. I asked again the next day and got one straight away albeit one with wires hanging out of the cord and no cap to stop the water from flowing back out of it. Staff had no interest in telling of any local attractions. Very hard when you are new to the area and trying to find your way about. Asked for a third chair for the balcony as there was three of us in the room but was told that it wouldn't fit. No proper place to dry wet clothes from the pool, just had to hang them over the balcony and prey they would still be there when you came back later. Floors were not swept for days on end as there was sand on it for a long time. WiFi was impossible to connect to if you have more than 1 device. The tea and coffee facilities in the room was 2 cups (between 3 of us) and a kettle, no tea or coffee, no milk, no sugar, no spoons.

Not the best place to stay. Receptionist spoke good and after it all went down hill, literally. Our room was almost below street level and all we could see was people's legs as they passed by. We really only use a hotel for a shower and sleeping so it wasn't the end of the world. What did bug us was the light on the aircon was so bright it put the light show at Hong Kong to shame. Waking up to the sound of the upstairs occupants parking their previous nights tea wasn't very pleasant and the smell from the shower after use was bad. Don't stay here unless you get a better room than we did. On a plus note there are some excellent quiet beaches 5 miles or so to the east.

Okay hotel?
Rooms very clean. Concert room was very cold, no one seemed to close doors when coming in from outside. Entertainment was poor. We have seen the act( neil? ) before and he was excllent, but this time he just played the guitar and did not do his cabaret act. To see him at his best he is very good but not this time. Nerja club and spa is quite a way from the centre and there are not many bars between there and centre of town. Nerja club and spa have a nice pool area.

Good, small hotel. A bit out of the town but great if you are a walker. Some rooms better than others but hotel will move you when possible. Food and service excellent.

Overall ok for the money paid. The hotel and bedroom were kept very clean with the bathroom having a great shower. Breakfast was ok, however dinner was average at best. Most staff and particularly the cleaning staff were very pleasant. Biggest gripe was the beds! They were well past there best, don’t think I had one good night sleep

There are 2 big supermarkets <1 min away but the centre is a 20 min walk. Burriana beach is about 15 mins walk but this is quite a steep, difficult walk coming back. The pool area has a good sea view but not big enough as it can get quite busy with children which makes it difficult to do any swimming. On arrival we were given a grotty room which had an unpleasant smell of smoke. We had requested a sea or pool view, but this room had neither. We were told the hotel was fully booked so we would have to wait until morning for another room. At no point did the receptionist apologise for the unacceptable standard of hotel room. When we asked again in the morning, we were told once more that nothing could be done so had to wait another hour. We were then given a room with a garden view which was decent enough. However when we returned to our original room to collect our luggage, we could not enter the room as the battery for the electronic lock had ran out. Again the receptionist did not apologise for this and we had to wait half an hour to get into the room to collect our luggage. When we finally collected the luggage and moved it to our new room we found 2 maintenance workers fixing the headboard. Again no apologies but another 20 mins waiting to enter the room. It wasn't until 1130am the day after arrival that we could actually enter our room. The room facilities are ok and of a good standard for a 3* hotel.

Exceeded expectations
This hotel represents great value for money. Our room was spacious, clean and the bathroom included a powerful hot shower, complementary shampoo and shower gel. Plenty of areas around the hotel to relax in. Wish we,d seen the buffet advertisement as it looked a fair choice for the price. It is a little way out of the town centre, but we enjoyed the very interesting walk. The hotel reception were very accommodating and if we were staying in Nerja again, we would definitely stay here again.

Best hotel in Nerja
This is the third time we have been to the Nerja club Hotel. All the staff at this hotel are very warm and friendly also very helpful. Its convenientl located to get around to all the places of interest and you can walk to the burianna beach and walk into nerja town itself. That takes around 20 mins. The food is good you can either have the buffett or bar food - both are good. Thwey have a nice outdoor pool - although its not warmed up its still good to get into especially when its very hot. They have plenty of sun loungers and tables chairs outside. Highly recommend this hotel to my friends and family.

A decent hotel for bed and breakfast
We booked bed & breakfast as we visit Nerja to see our daughter, son-in-law and 2 granddaughters and generally eat with them in the evening. We did, however, have one evening meal and it was absolutely awful. Breakfast was fine and the hotel was basically good. Visitors should be aware of the sales "blurb" about the hotel being refurbished. This is not correct, as only a few rooms have been refurbished - so, beware.

Hotel Nerja Club
The hotel itself is very nice, clean and tidy. The staff were all very accomodating to us. The location is a little bit up from the beach (15 min walk or 6 euro in a taxi) and about the same to the main square where the church is, however this made the hotel pool very quiet and relaxing to sit at. The day and evening menus were cheap and adaquite. There was entertainment each night with a wide range of acts to suit all ages and tastes. Over all the hotel was very good for the price if you dont mind a little walk each day.

Hotel Nerja Club in Nerja
Nice staff, clean rooms, some of which have been updated recently. We had half board and found food was very good, plenty of it and reasonable choice. There was entertainment every evening in the bar area, which was generally good. The hotel is located about 15 minute walk from the town (uphill on the way back) with plenty of restaurants and shops. There is a cheap bus service but this doesn't run during the siesta hours, so if you don't like walking this could be a problem. We walked in every day and it wasn't a problem for us. We had a modern room at the front above the cafe/bar but this was very noisey in the evening and night, after 3 nights of not sleeping we asked to move to a quieter room. They offered us a room at the back of the hotel which was a little dated, but much bigger and very quiet. We changed rooms and everything was fine from then on. The staff were very pleasant about the room change and we were glad we had asked to move. Only other gripe was that we understood there was an indoor pool. In fact this was part of the spa and was very small, also because of the package we were on we had to pay to use it 8 euros each for one hour! We discovered that other people were using it but not paying! Didn't really understand this.

free parking on the street, room was good, staff were good, buffet breakfast was fine, good value for the money. not sure about the location if you were staying for longer, we used it for 1 night passing through, it seemed to be a residential area more than a main tourist area
