Top Maine State House Hotel Reviews
Fireside Inn & Suites Waterville
10/10 Excellent
"I never saw any staff but the rooms were very clean and very nice. I was only there for a night. WiFi worked great. The restaurant was wonderful."
Super 8 by Wyndham Augusta
8/10 Good
"The property was clean and basic nothing special the bed was comfortable. The price was right for a one night stay."
The Elmwood
8/10 Good
"1. I didn’t know the facility was a pet-friendly motel. This wouldn’t have been a problem except that we found dog hair in the corners of our room. We were able to have housekeeping come and sweep the floors. 2. The mattresses are secured to the base of the bed. So if you move, the mattress moves and you have to push it back so that it’s flush with the base."
Comfort Inn Augusta
8/10 Good
"Our room was ok. The bathroom was in need of repair and could have been cleaner but not gross. Mirror was dirty and the sink top has peices of paint on it from the peeling ceiling. The wall paper was coming off the wall as well. The pool area was not desirable in appearance. Needs some TLC rust everywhere where and peeling paint. The fitness room was excellent and well maintained as well as the lobby. Loved the 24 hour coffee and tea bar and Lemon water. The breakfast was really good lots of greatchoices. Front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast room staff was rude and on her phone but it was clean and well maintained. Not the best Ive stayed but not the worst."
Warm & Inviting Lakeside Retreat, Private, Tranquil Picture Perfect Setting
10/10 Excellent
"We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful home on Ingham Pond. The property was clean, comfortable and thoughtfully equipped with everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. We stayed the first weekend in October and the views with the autumn trees were stunning. The house was cozy and welcoming and we especially enjoyed spending time by the lake and having dinners on the covered patio.Roger the host, was friendly, responsive and made the whole experience seamless. We would happily stay here again and highly recommend this lake house to anyone looking for a peaceful, and memorable escape."
Spacious Waterfront Log Home on Huge Lake in Private Cove: Host Weddings
8/10 Good
"Beautiful cabin and location, Eric was very responsive to our request for early check in. The space worked great for us. The only wish list would one more bathroom lol."
Maine Cabin Masters Camp completely redone waiting for a Lake loving family !
10/10 Excellent
"Was extremely pleased with everything about the property, the cleanliness and our reception by Mary and family. We were somewhat prepared about what we would find as we watched Maine Cabin Masters, season 9 episode 1 where we watch the restoration of the property. But seeing it in person was amazing. Words actually fail me. Mary even went so far as to have a fresh baked apple pie (and a bottle of wine) waiting on us when we arrived. Anyone staying in this area should visit the Apple Shed Kitchen and Bakery in Readfield. Everything we tried there was beyond description. Glad we don’t live closer because I would drive a hundred miles to go there. About the home. Everything was ready to move in. The kitchen was well stocked and she even had the makings for S’mores. Every dish, pot or pan you could need or want was there. Heating was no problem with an HVAC. Supplemental heating with an antique pot belly stove added a nice romantic tone. Games and DVD’s (100?) were plentiful. It was a comfortable home. Fishing gear was available as were canoes and a paddle boat. The fishing was good and listening to the loons were fantastic The outside fireplace was large and seasoned wood abundantBottom line, we highly recommend this property for your consideration. We also hope to be back in the future, but will fly in. Getting there, driving around, and heading back to Western North Carolina was about 3500 miles. But it was well worth."
Maple Hill Farm Inn
10/10 Excellent
"Beautiful property, friendly staff, comfortable room and a terrific breakfast. Appreciated the gluten free options and well-packed to-go box for our teenage daughter’s breakfast."
Nature lovers Paradise your own island
10/10 Excellent
"I loved Little Paradise Island, but it’s definitely not for everyone. A shade above camping, but with more amenities and a solid roof over your head. The perfect getaway to unplug and reset from the world, if even for a short time and if you enjoy being out on the water then you can’t ask for more. Plenty of hiking trails nearby to enjoy and entertainment options if you’re willing to travel. I loved my stay and can’t wait to come back."
