Food and service for drinks/dinner was great for us (although a table next to us had their drinks order 'lost' so had to complain after waiting over 30mins but staff were highly apologetic & sorted it immediately). We enjoyed calamari, steak and 1/4 piri piri chicken. The gin selection was great & also the house IPA.
Room was really disappointing. Bin had not been emptied and there was no bag in it. The cold tap couldn't be turned off fully so was running throughout. The bed was the worst and had us searching moving to a Travelodge in the middle of the night. We resisted but did not sleep well. Breakfast wasn't served till 8am, which was a little late for us with a small baby so we didn't stay & went elsewhere.
We wanted to support local business but wouldn't stay here again unless the rooms were significantly upgraded.
