We enjoyed the 2 nights and 3 days trip to Madurai. This hotel food was fantastic and an excellent very courteous staff in Front desk, travel desk and in dining hall. They went beyond call of duty and served additional specific dish in buffet dinner. I would strongly recommend this property.

The room was fine except for the bathroom. Water after shower was not getting drained properly resulting in the water coming to other parts of the bathroom. Food variety was good. Some of the non veg offered for brealfast were not breakfast or snack like items.

Pleasant stay in Madurai
The customer service was sincere, charming and helpful. Everything worked perfectly including the hot water and the internet. The location was well located between the airport and a short tuk tuk ride to the tourist sites. The rooms are a bit worn and housekeeping could pay a bit more attention to details but neither would prevent an additional stay at this property.

hotel was fine but neighborhood is very bad. Restaurant service was fine but every where else staff was stiff and does not even smile. Spa staff was the worst they don't even give details when called. When went in person they don't even care to talk. If you like Taj and LM do even think about this place stay only if you have to.

We booked this hotel hoping it will be of the usual GRT standards, but we were greatly disappointed. The bathroom was in a terrible conditions. Black streaks were lining the inside of the toilet bowl. Though we booked a double room, we were given a twin room. The restaurant has the slowest service we have ever encountered. We waited for almost 20 mins before the food was served. But their breakfast buffet was good. On the day of departure, we requested for porters to come up to help us with the bags (we had 2 rooms and 10 pieces of luggage) but they never turned up.

This hotel is really good! Big rooms with all facilities, hotel staff always gentle, an ayurvedic massage centre in the mezzanine floor and, more then everything, the restaurant.... absolutely excellent. We will come back.

Wonderful hotel!
I loved this hotel, they treated my friend and I like royalty. The premises are very well maintained, the rooms are very clean, comfortable and spacious and the service is truly amazing! We tried the spa and it was a great experience. breakfast is great! The neighborhood is a little sketchy, but we felt safe the entire time with our driver Vasu.
