Pictures shown for the double rooms are not accurate. I booked this hotel thinking I would have a room with a big terrace, outdoor seating, a sofa in the room etc. in reality the rooms were very tiny, essentially a bed only. I asked to be moved to a terrace room after checking in. Another guest was at the front desk voicing the same concerns. The staff was very friendly, they did the best they could, but after being moved to a balcony room it still did not match the size or design as shown in the listing. Don’t be fooled like we were!!! The rooms themselves were clean and updated nicely, but it wasn’t worth what I paid for. Overall I felt tricked with this booking.

Worth to stay if you can get a good rate
Well located for some of the sights and local convenience stores but the street and Immediate area are a bit grubby and instantly forgettable. The hotel has a new feel throughout and good ergonomic functionality but small room and no view in to a small internal courtyard undermined the experience which was overall a bit soulless. Having said that the price paid was very competitive compared other hotels for that date and offered good value for money. Didn’t use any of the amenities.

The smoke and food smell in the room is unacceptable. The only staff in the hotel, was the front desk representative who did not provide any solution and nobody else was inform about our problems. She admitted that it was a very bad smell and she only provide a odor spray that obviously didn’t help. We traveled with 2 kids and we had no other option than stay at the hotel on that conditions and paying not a cheap rate. I do not recommend this hotel at all.

The first night the hotel gave me a one person service room. We 're a 70+ couple and paid for a double room in a 4 stars hotel not a hostel. The room given to us had a small bed barely enough for one of us. The bed sheets were filthy with a blood stain at the mid section. Avoid. At this rate you can stay at many other properties with adequate service.

The hotel is just as it seems in pictures. Room was comfortable by European standards (we are 4). Air conditioning worked great as well as the hot water. Location is ok, a bit further from Sol than I’d prefer, but it was fine.

Nice modern hotel close to Gran Via. The outside image of the hotel and the street it is located on, doesn't do the interior any justice. Once you've walked in, the inside is very clean, modern with a luxury feel to it. Tube stations, Plaza Espana and Gran Via are all accessible by foot. The breakfast was a slight let down on the pastry side. Lots of cakes on display but I believe people would rather fresh pastries than cheesecake for breakfast. We were also expecting spa, swimming pool facilities at the hotel but none were available, which was another let down. Good stay overall but will look for an alternative hotel with more facilities next time.
