Everything was excelent but the hotel don’t have Iron. And also we ask for a bandage and they don’t have I think they should have those things because the hotel is extremely nice

The property seems modern and well maintained. Rooms have a funny smell, maybe from the type of cleaning product used. but the are clean. Breakfast is served very nicely but the staff is seems undertrained. The first morning, from the moment we walked in, the gentleman attending, rather that orienting us where to sit, he waited until we picked a table to shout from the entrance that the particular section was closed. Shouting, in an empty restaurant. Second day, my daughter finished breakfast and was eating a plain croissant when my wife instructed her to rush to the room and grab her things to leave, which she did with the half eaten bread in hand and mouth full. The same ill-mannered person from the day before, went after my underage daughter, halfway to the elevator and grabbed her arm to tell her that she could not take food from the restaurant. She came back to my wife and sat down to finish the piece of bread. I did not deal with this at the time and with hotel management because I just learned about this after the trip but sincerely hope that this message reaches the hotel.

Booked this at absolute last minute after my rental accommodation cancelled just after landing in Madrid. Got a really good deal and was really happy with the hotel. 53 bus stops just around the corner and takes you straight into Madrid centre and runs every 10 minutes. Hotel itself very high quality. Did the buffet breakfast on 1 day and it was very good with lots of choice. I'd definitely stay here again and recommend to others. Good quality gym too

I totally love this hotel since it’s lobby is beautiful and the staff are always friendly .. The rooms are pristine, the area is super safe that you can stroll and find dining options available at a reasonable walking distance and the airport is nearby. 💯 recommended!

This hotel is located in a quiet and safe business / embassy district. It has a spacious lobby as well as a large patio. Our suite had large windows that was the entire northside of the room with ample lighting and great views of the city. The staff (reception and house cleaning) are very accommodating with requests. This is especially true with Ivan. He went out of his way to fulfil our requests and questions . We were especially pleased with his friendly and professional customer service skills as well as his multi linguistic abilities (French, English, Spanish). There is a great shopping centre 5 minutes walk away for all your shopping, dining and grocery needs. For those that don’t mind exploring the city by walking - this hotel is for you as it’s a safe walk from the outside of the busy downtown core that houses the famous Retiro Park, Royal Palace, Prado Museum and much more!

Check in was fast and easy, front desk personal was very helpful and nice, the room was very warm during our stay and we started sweating during the night and had to open the balcony door for coolers air to come in, breakfast buffet was great and had a lot of options.

Lovely hotel in a nice area. Staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. There is a shopping centre a five minute walk from hotel, the 200 bus that goes direct to and from the airport a five minute walk away, and the 53 bus around the corner that goes right into the city. You can also take an Uber to the city or the airport for around €10. I thought the hotel was very conveniently located and accessible. There was a really nice area outside to relax and chill at, so after a day out, you can still come back to the hotel and not be confined to a room. Clean rooms, aircon, plastic free toiletries, decent sized safe and wardrobe. The only thing is the pillows were very uncomfortable. Would definitely recommend this hotel and would stay at an Ilunion hotel again.

Wonderful experience
It was an amazing stay and value for money. Staff were very friendly and accommodating . The room was very spacious. The breakfast was amazing, especially the omelettes and central to transport to get into madrid and beyond.

Very disappointing for 4 star hotel
Warm and professional welcome on arrival. Parking underground carpark was good and spacious but cost €20per day. Breakfast was plentiful - cost €13 per day. Disappointed that we booked Queen bed but given two single beds pushed together (bed sheets made as two singles) Modern hotel but drains in our room smelt and drain on sink wouldn’t clear quickly, needs cleaning. Glasses in room weren’t washed when we returned to room, staff missed cleaning. Air conditioning didn’t work so our stay was uncomfortable. Bar fridge didn’t work, couldn’t even keep water cool. Older gentleman as staff member at the bar was rude and ignored us two nights running. We therefore didn’t order evening meal with him being so unpleasant. We did make a complaint to another staff member (female) and she apologised. Taking into consideration all of the above this is not worthy of a 4-star hotel

A bit far from the metro station, and in the heat, walking to and from the station is hard work as it's quite hilly. Hotel itself is lovely, pool doesn't get sun until mid afternoon which is a shame, but it was too hot to sit out for long anyway. A few nice eateries nearby and the hotel food is nice, just make sure you order extras like potatoes and veg, because that doesn't come as standard. If you order fish, you get just fish, no salad or veg or potatoes of any kind. Very strange. However that seems to be a Madrid thing, not just the hotel.

Pleasant stay

I enjoyed my stay the minute I arrived. Checking in was quick, questions/problems/requests were handled quickly, breakfast was awesome (especially for me because I am allergic to gluten) and checking out was just as fast. My room was big and comfortable with nice toiletries and robe/slippers.The only thing missing is a free shuttle to and from the airport. The taxi ride took about 8 minutes without traffic for about 18 euros.

The hotel room needs to be renovated, the air conditioning does not work well, and the shower is not clean. Overall is ok.
