It was fine overall but I’ve paid less for better. I travel past here a couple times a year on long road trips and this is the second or third time I’ve made a nighttime stop in this area- I suspect there are only cheap hotels, and slightly overpriced decent hotels along this stretch based on other experiences. So my bad for getting tired here again, knowing better and not wanting to settle for a motel. And take it with a grain of salt that I was tired and cranky.
The fridge made a cyclical groaning noise every few seconds; I had to unplug it to be able to sleep. The fake wood floor panels were warped and creaking in the room, and room had a slight smell. The mattresses were pretty hard but still slept alright. But it was clean, safe, and spacious. And Staff were very friendly and decent breakfast.
