Very friendly reception. Room was a bit tight with an unnecessary additional single bed, but made up for by amazing balcony view. Worth staying here for this alone. Fabulous. Breakfast was rather basic and a bit strange (limited from a menu not buffet). Service was slow and my small plate of scrambled eggs with no accompaniments were stone cold when eventually turned up. Nice fresh bread rolls, though. Lift covers all levels including restaurant on ground floor - with street-level access is handy for those with mobility issues. Good place to stay with great access to the sea front and amazing view from the balcony.

Beautiful views and lovely village
It is a great hotel with beautiful views and a very good location. Very good breakfast . There was no aircon or a fan in the room , which made sleeping difficult sometimes .

Perfect hotel and location
My stay in Costa Linda was lovely. My partner and I stay there every year and we keep coming back. The hotel is clean, spacious room, central, near everything. I love Porto da Cruz. I wish all the best for the future.

Amazing place! Gem for the price. Great location front of the ocean and delicious food. Clean. Very friendly staffs. Wifi is bit wacky but overall 👍

Although this property is away from the tourist attractions of Funchal, it is worth the drive or bus ride. The view is spectacular. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean and the waves are soothing as they crash on the rocks. Well worth it.

Really good for an overnight stay as the room was comfortable with a balcony overlooking the sea and the restàurant served delicious local caught fish.

Nice hotel close to the sea
Excellent customer service, responded instantly to confirm booking and even found us a room with a sea view. Staff great and very friendly and obliging, fantastic location and we were so lucky to find it on our first visit to madeira. We hired a car for the week and toured the island and would not have changed our Hotel or location, best base in our view for touring and then having a quiet little village to return to and have a beer listening to the sea. We stayed from 6th-13th of Feb 2017 so it was lovely and quiet but still enough places open to have the choice of 3 to 4 restaurants to eat fresh fish at a very reasonable price. A visit to Funchal for the fish market is a must and the cable car up Monte Great value for money

Cozy
The hotel was very cozy and the staff was super friendly. The location is nice, especially with the surfing beach a few hundred meters away. There was a fee for a pool nearby, which bothered us a bit. The rooms are nice, we even got upgraded during our stay for no charge from no balcony to balcony with sea view room. The only thing I thought was missing is a small fridge in the room where we could leave drinks and fruit.

On the beach, listened to the waves all night
The staff waited up for our 3:30am arrival and could not have been more kind to us. This is a small family owned hotel and well worth the visit.

Great location with sea views
Modern hotel in beautiful location. Staff very friendly and helpful. Sea view room with balcony , clean and adequate.. Stayed at the end of February and weather a bit chilly - hotel could do with some heating. Breakfast, picnic and evening meals very good. Would return. Thank you to all the staff at the Costa Linda for making our stay enjoyable.

Petit hôtel très simple géré par une personne très sympathique qui parle très bien français en autre. La chambre est très propre, vaste et équipée d'un petit balcon, et la vue sur la mer est vraiment un plus.La salle de bain correcte mais la douche est étriquée. Bac douche simplement équipée d'un rideau de douche, ce qui assure à chaque fois l'inondation dans la salle de bain... Il manque aussi la climatisation. Possibilité de stationner sans aucun problème gratuitement à proximité de l'hôtel.Bon petit déjeuner servi au restaurant juste en dessous de l'hôtel

Accueil très agréable et chaleureux, réponses à nos nombreuses questions concernant les balades sur l’île . Nous avions demandé une chambre vue mer , la chambre proposée avait bien la vue mer mais était assez sombre , nous avons changé de chambre dès qu’une chambre s’est libérée et la super ! Très bon petit déjeuner servi à l’intérieur dommage !, alors que le bord de mer est tout proche . Serveur dynamique et parlant un très bon français .

Immer wieder, super Restaurant
Wir sind waren schon das zweite mal da und würden wieder kommen. Leider ist die Rezeption direkt neben den Zimmer. Keine gute Lösung, er brach zu unruhig in den schönsten Zimmer mit herrlichem Meerblick.

Hotelli on ihan kiva ja henkilökunta ystävällistä, mutta huone oli kylmä eikä siinä päällisin puolin vaikuttanut olevan ilmanvaihtoa muutoin kuin ikkunoita avaamalla. Kun vaatteemme kastuivat kävelyllä niiden kuivaksi saaminen oli hankalaa. Huoneessa ollut liikuteltava lämmitin oli täydellä teholla vuoroin huoneessa ja kylpyhuoneessa, mutta kosteutta ei tahtonut saada poistumaan ja huone pysyi viileänä.

malheureusement notre chambre ne donnait pas sur la mer. Cependant il s'agissait de la chambre appartement, très grande avec coin cuisine (et réfrigérateur) et salon mais un peu tristounette. Petit déjeuner avec un vrai jus d'orange, un vrai plaisir... Du choix et personnel sympathique.

Sehr nettes Hotel direkt am Strand (Stein). Einer der schönsten Plätze auf der Insel. Vor allem für Pärchen. Sehr (wild)romantisch. Kleiner Punktabzug für das nicht so besondere Frühstück, Kaffee ist aber gut :)
