"Great stay. Tons of snow, welcoming host and neighboors, an ice skating trail maintained on the lake just in front of the house!"

"The property is absolutely gorgeous and well maintained, with so many different places to host dinners and chats both inside and out that you'll never struggle to find the perfect spot!But the hosts were easily the stars of the show! Colleen and her husband were so incredibly accommodating and always responded quickly to the many questions we had for them.With plans for upgrades already it's hard not to imagine their property becoming a hot spot for both couples and groups alike!"

"We had a great time at Gramma’s on the Lake. Could not have asked for a more beautiful location, quiet and private! This was our first time using VRBO so we weren’t sure how the check-in process or communication would be - and it was seamless. Due to user error (me), I had a bit of an issue with the code getting in so I connected with our hosts who were immediately responsive and we were in within minutes with no issues. The property is beautiful, well maintained and clean as is the cottage interior which is a must if we’re going to be comfortable! Every amenity of home is available, all we had to do is bring a few groceries to keep for our stay and a trip to town is 10 mins away so it didn’t take so much away from a day when we needed to pick up a forgotten supply. We were so fortunate to have such beautiful weather and our hosts let us use their kayaks so we spent many hours on the water and exploring the islands. When we weren’t on the water we played many rounds of badminton or just relaxed in the fully screened-in room enjoying the view and serenity of the property. We will definitely be connecting to re-book at this property when we book next year’s vacations from work but for a full week next time. Thank you Randy and Christine - we really enjoyed our stay and appreciated your hospitality throughout!"

"Such a beautiful cottage and area! A nice and quiet lake. We stayed with some friends and all our kids. The shallow beach was perfect for the kids to play in and lots of sand to build castles. The cottage is very spacious for us all. We had a blast and will definitely rent again. The owners were super friendly and easy to get a hold of. Place is very clean and organised too. "

"We had a truly lovely stay at this cozy cottage in Barry's Bay! The views were absolutely beautiful, and the quiet surroundings made for a wonderfully peaceful retreat.Unfortunately, our youngest wasn't feeling well with a bit of sun exhaustion for the first two days, so we spent some quality one-on-one time indoors. Thankfully, the cottage was well-equipped with plenty of puzzles and games, which kept us happily occupied during her recovery while the rest of the family enjoyed the water activities.We were also delighted by the occasional visits from a beautiful hummingbird to the feeder out back – a real treat, even if we never quite managed to get the camera out in time! The host was amazing with communication, making everything seamless from start to finish.The cottage itself was very homey and comfortable. As expected with a lakeside location, bug spray was definitely a must-have when spending time outside, but that's just part of the charm of being so close to nature.We highly recommend this cottage for a relaxing and enjoyable getaway!"
