No way is this hotel a 4 star, 2 stars at best. The rooms were very dated, and no very clean. We didn’t even take a shower as it was disgusting

Lovely hotel. A little tired in places and no glasses or cups in room for drinks. No coffee in the room was a little disappointing

Fine, but not one to go back to
The hotel was Ok for an overnight stay, breakfast was good, but the room was very tired compared to other Novotels, especially the bathroom which was stained and damaged. I'd not stay here again.

I stay here because it’s incredibly convenient. It’s by no means the best Novotel I’ve stayed in, it needs a good refreshing, but the location is excellent

Good value for money
Larger rooms and nice surroundings close to highway. Beds were comfy. Wasn’t the cleanest and the building is old (lobby nicely renovated thou) overall I would say good value for money.

Regular 1-night stopover on a drive to the Alps. Super convenient location and safe to leave a packed-up car overnight. Restaurant service and food are a bit hit-and-miss, but fine for 1 evening after a long day of driving.

Not for a quiet stop over.
Have stayed there before, but now the hotel looks a bit run down. Had their buffet dinner - ok, just. Same goes for the breakfast. A very noicy place with heavy music and screaming children, not a place for a quiet evening. Staff and service was good.

Have stayed in this property many times over the years ,it has gone down hill , no improvements made in all the time we have stayed . Beds uncomfortable- blue blankets for childrens beds are really old and horrible ( duvets please) and the beds themselves are uncomfortable. Food has gone down hill ,very limited menu compared to previous times some of which had run out on the day . Hotel needs an upgrade , I will be looking for alternatives for our next trip , sad times .

The room was supposedly non smoking but absolutely stunk of cigarettes and there was a cigarette burn in sofa seat. The room was very hot and the aid conditioning just made a lot of noise but did not lower temperature at all. The sink in the bathroom took a long time to drain, obviously needed to clear the drain.

Convenient location right by a motorway exit. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Bedroom was a bit shabby. Despite having a long bench/desk there was a dearth of electric sockets. Miniscule bed side table on one side and none on the other. Food choice for vegetarians was limited.

We made the choice of more spacious bedding in width 160 * 190 or 200 for greater sleeping comfort, which explains why we had to remove a bedside table. There are not many outlets, in fact, but we have wireless phone chargers to lend you, do not hesitate to call on our services. This property was not clean...I don't think it could ever be clean. It needs a complete refurbishment. Not worth the money and will not stay there again. The food in restaurant at dinner was terrible. We stayed at the Novotel in Beaune previously and that was lovely. This one...awful. Novotel should be ashamed.

hotel was fine we have stayed there many times before, but the restaurant was very disappointing, my vegetarian food was inedible and so was my sons steak

Exxcellent breakfast
a welcome quiet and comfortable stay just a minute from the A7 autoroute. The breakfast was outstanding and set us up for the day.

One night in Macon
Great evening at the hotel in Macon, the 3 serving staff were amazingly efficient with looking after about 50 customers, I salute them. My only issue was that we booked a room for handicapped and got a bath, not helpful.

Very close to motorway & good family rooms
Great location, 2 minutes from the motorway. Comfortable rooms & good beds for the kids. Restaurant service lets them down though. Was very slow both this time & the last time we stayed. Had to find a waitress & ask them to take our food order. Then waited over 30 minutes from getting dessert menu to taking order & were then told they no longer had what we’d ordered. Food was good when it arrived although only just warm enough. Staff are friendly & helpful. Fine for an overnight stop.
