First room was above a night club and noisy, the windows did not shut properly and the wind made loud whistling noises but the friendly and helpful staff moved us to another room on the other side of the building and it was fantastic.

We stayed in a studio for a night before a wedding. The staff allowed us to check in early so that we could get ready in the room before having to leave for the event. The room was clean and big, and the bathroom had good toiletries, as well as a hair dryer and magnifying mirror. Everything in the room worked well. We couldn't hear other guests at all even though the hotel was pretty full. Parking is easy and free. We have stayed before and will stay again!

We have stayed at this hotel regularly. We thought we would eventually get a room with decent shower pressure. Our last stay was the worst by far, with the shower no more than a trickle. This building is relatively new, so there is no excuse for poor water pressure. Low cost hotels on Nebo road have better pressure. I had a bath instead and while relaxing in the bath, noticed how dirty the bathroom was. Anything not in direct eye sight had not been cleaned. The cost of these rooms is above average for Mackay, so we expect better than this. We feel like we will not be staying here again because of this. As we deserve a decent shower for the amount of money we have paid.

The carpet needs a good cleaning and shampoo. There were ants everywhere and the joinery doors need adjusting. No chairs on the veranda, and the couch was 2nd rate.

My initial room was very small. I needed a larger room to allow me to complete some of my work. After talking to the ladies at reception I was up-graded to a larger room which was fantastic. However, there was no outside furniture available to enjoy the night air. Breakfast the next morning was great and enjoyed a late check out. All in all was a nice evening.

Freezing. The heater didn’t work, I call reception and they came up and set it the same that I had it and was told it will take 15-20 minutes to warm up. It didn’t and we froze all night. Reception wasn’t interested in helping. Pretty poor.

The restaurant is letting the hotel down. Couldnt even eat breakfast as everything was so over cooked you could have used the toast to hold a car up.

The room was dusty around the windows I could not turn the air condition of I was told we get you a blanket or if you open the windows the Aircon will turn off one S.
