The two sitting rooms with fireplaces were a welcome refuge after a day of hiking and sightseeing . We were able to walk by the lake and enjoy the beautiful scenery. The lodge itself is exactly what you would expect in a natural Irish setting. The food was very good and the bar was cozy offering an opportunity to meet other guests. The staff was welcoming and helpful. Tom the bartender was a charm. They washed our clothes at no charge and returned them folded! Wish we could have stayed longer."
