"We had a great week in Can Pauet. The house and especially the outdoor area are very nice, and the pool is great. Air conditioning is actually only on the upper floor of the main building, this should be made clearer in the description. But the climate in the house was still pleasant and there were still fans available. The stock of glasses could be refilled, but these are really only small things. The house is absolutely recommendable."

"Pros: This was a perfect holiday, especially for the kids. They spent almost the whole day in the pool. There's also a jacuzzi, though we barely used it since it was so hot during our stay. For the same reason, we unfortunately didn't get to use the private tennis court either. We did enjoy plenty of darts and table tennis instead, and the large living room was pleasantly cool indoors. Alicia, who rented the house to us, was lovely and gave us great tips on things to do nearby. She and her...

"Resort feel in a wonderful town with a short walk to a picturesque beach in tossa de mar. We travelled from the US with my 7 and 5 year olds and they loved the pools, shows, kids club and the buffet!!"

"I really can’t fault the place. It is rated 1 star, so I didn’t have much expectation, but it actually exceeded my expectations. Checking in at 2am wasn’t an issue, moving our luggage into a new room while we were out wasn’t a problem, and they even let us leave our luggage after check out so we could explore the city freely. The location is excellent, only a 5 minute walk from the main bus and train station. The room was clean, good shower, comfy beds and pillows, good AC, very helpful English speaking staff and a nicely decorated place. What else do you need for a short stay?"

Quelques points méritent une petite amélioration : - Animation : moyen, il y a surement mieux à faire pour la journée - soucis des ascenseurs parfois très très long selon les horaires. "The rooms were excellent, spacious, modern and very comfortable. The buffet was also very good, with plenty of choice, and the hotel in general was clean and well maintained. The only reason I have given 4 stars rather than 5 is the price. We paid around £480 for the night, and although we enjoyed our stay, I simply don't think the hotel experience justified that level of pricing. In my view, around £300 per night would have been much more appropriate for this type of hotel. That said, I appreciate we stayed during peak August season and booked at relatively short notice, which will obviously have influenced the rate. Overall, a very good family hotel with excellent rooms and a good buffet, just significantly overpriced for our stay."
