Old, rundown

Posted 19-Sep-2017
Room key cards had to be updated DAILY, every door I opened sqweeked and would stick from the many coats of paint. Shower curtain wouldn't stay closed because it was barely attached to the wall.. Faucet in the bathroom was spraying every direction but down. I wouldn't recommend this place to anybody.. Expedia should REMOVE this place from there list... Never Again....

Outdated hotel

Posted 14-Sep-2017
This hotel is really old. Floor smells really bag. Elevator doesn't go to the second floor so it too me forever to find my room (like a maze). Save your money as this hotel really isn't worth what they charge. They aren't worth anything!!

check in was great the young lady was fantastic

Posted 06-Sep-2017
Pros: Room rate was okay rooms were okay . Check in was pleasant .
Cons: Breakfast and employees that speak English better.
Location: Location was okay went to a wedding .
check in was great the young lady was fantastic getting all 3 rooms together. Down hill from there. 1 room was for 1 night so I turned in the key card and emphasized which room it was. Well all 3 rooms were cancelled had to get the other 2 card keys working. 3 times back and forth to the main desk . rooms were 641 , 642, and 643 all the way around the left side and up one flight. they tried to be comp me some by giving me breakfast free for both rooms. went to breakfast not knowing this . When I wanted to pay the women kept repeating my room number and thought she was going to charge it to the room which I didn't want to do. I kept saying I don't understand. Finally she slammed her hands down and said it was free . Nasty as can be. I think you should have some one that speaks English better. Plus the breakfast was suppose to be open until 11:00 am when I sent my son and his wife down at 10:00 they were closed. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. Thank you for this unpleasant stay.

Worst experience!

Posted 01-Sep-2017
Pros: The pool looked nice.
Cons: Everything! Needs a complete update.
The hotel is in desperate need of renovation. Our room was on the second floor (there are only 2 floors) and there was no elevator. The carpet in the hallways looked worn as did the carpet on the stairs. Our room was not very clean, there was an old beer cap on the floor and peeling wallpaper in the bathroom. There was a fire alarm at about 4 a.m., it was legitimate, you could see smoke in the hallway. We had to evacuate for about an hour. The closest exit to our room led directly outside, there was no staff to direct the guest as to where we should wait. We were allowed back into the lobby area and they did provide warm bottled water. The next morning I asked if there was any compensation due to the fire alarm and she said no but did offer free breakfast (a $7.95 value). I also asked for a copy of my bill and was told since I paid through a third party, it was not available. I have always been able to get a copy of my bill regardless of how I paid. Overall, a hotel in need of an update and an uncaring staff. Would not recommend and will not be staying again.

Pleasant hotel near Sayville, NY

Posted 30-Aug-2017
Location: Near Sayville Yacht Club, Cory Beach, Blue Point, MacArthur Airpotr (ISP), and the Great South Bay.
Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Clean and well maintained room. I picked this hotel based on the reasonable rates; I was neither surprised nor disappointed with the facilities. All in all, it was a relaxing and comfortable way to spend a few nights.
