"What a cool place! The interior design here exceeded my wildest expectations. Both eye capturing and functional. At first glance the room seems small and lackluster in the functional area. But after some examination you discover you have everything you need in a very organized and compact formation. It was really cool. The common area is just beautiful, welcoming and very cozy. The staff let you feel at home right from the start. There is a notable sense of community here, since the guests are welcome to use the common area's kitchen and dinning place to install their own meal. One last impression is the great location in the heart of Bern with every store or establishment in a very comfortable distance. My wife and I simply adored this place and would come back, if only to visit this hotel again."

"This was a great hotel for getting to and from the train station as well as the main tourist sights. 2 days a week there is a farmer’s market right outside the hotel. There is a lot of morning traffic and noise, so if you’re a light sleeper, you might want to use the earplugs they provide. It is airconditioned but is not turned on until May. It was cold outside, but the room was a little stuffy for me, so we opened the window. The staff were all extremely helpful and kind. We didn’t have breakfast in the hotel, so can’t speak to that."

"Everything excellent. The room was very comfortable although it was very hot in the room. Upon asking we were told that due to the season the option was to open the window which is not our preference. The coffee maker in the room was not easy to use so we couldn't use it."
