We had to sleep for one night in order to take the train the next morning, the room was too hot and when we asked they said "oh yes the technician didn't come today" but they didn't tell us prior to check-in and without any apologies about what happened.

Room small and had a little slope so the bed was a at a slight angle. The shower space was tight. The Hotel was cute and staff was very courteous and nice. Had trouble with WiFi first day but when we told the staff it was much better the next couple of days.

Kind and helpful staff, but the place was quite meager for the amount paid (59 euros for one person room); for instance, the bed is tiny and there was a strange smell that I couldn't get rid of for the life of me. However, it is clean and comfortable. I enjoyed my stay.

Convenient to the train station (100 metres), but that is really its only appeal. Old building. Quite a lot of noise from the street in the evening, mostly from roudy people.

A memorable 5 days in Lyon
I had a quiet but memorable 5 days in Lyon. The hotel staffs were friendly and very helpful. It’s location is the best, right next to Lyon Perrache train station. My room was small but it was lovely to go back to a warm cozy room after hours of walking and discovering old Lyon. If I were to visit Lyon again in the future, which I am hoping to, I would definitely stay in this hotel again.

Great Location. The location of the hotel was very convenient with Suchet tram stop close by to go to Confluence (shops, restaurants, museum, etc) or to Part Dieu (station, bibliotheque, food halls Paul Bocuse, etc.). It was a short walk to Place Bellecour or to the rivers.

Easy access in central Lyon
Very good location. About 10 minutes walk from the largest square in Europe. Yes, the shower sure is small, but it worked well. The room is also quite small, but it is an older building in an old city. The elevator barely fits 2. It also worked well. The breakfast, which is extra, has a fair choice of cold items:3 meats, several cheeses, fruit, cereal, juices, good croissants and other breads, and a big coffee machine that makes several different styles. Lots of restaurants and a couple supermarkets in the area. Also an easy walk to a huge shopping centre, Confluence. The hotel's directions on their website were very good.

Good things come in very small packages...
Can't say anything negative except that the size of the room and bathroom were ridiculously small. Also, there was the tiniest elevator I've ever used in my entire life. And I have traveled to 30+ countries...

Good base for overnight stay. Friendly staff.
We booked the room for one overnight stay in Lyon. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was quite simple but clean and with a good bathroom so plenty comfortable for our short stay.

Suitable for business travellers, near the station and bus/tram stops so good connections.The downside is you get a lot of noise from the street level. I was on the first floor during my stay. Also, at the time of my 3 night stay, their was a big building works going on directly outside the hotel. I think the room tate is high for a moderate amenities hotel. Staff were very nice and helpful.

Does the job
The staff at the hotel were excellent and friendly, whilst we didn't have too much interaction with them other than checking in & getting the key from them, they were always smiling. The room served it's purpose, it was quiet despite there being a tram stop outside and is very close to numerous eateries on either side of the train station. Most of the sights are within walking distance (I like to walk everywhere) or there's the metro in the Gare Lyon-Perrache that will take you anywhere. The decor of the room is basic and the Wifi can be a bit temperamental in the room. Would I stay there again? Probably

Great stay in Lyon
This is a beautiful little hotel right near the train station. The area was fine and the hotel was clean, customer service was great. Great bathroom and shower facilities also. Can't say enough about how much we enjoyed our stay at this hotel.

Excellent central location
This hotel is in an excellent location right next to one of the central train stations, the rooms however are very quiet. The hotel seems to have been recently refurbished so everything is in good condition and the bathroom was compact but had everything we needed. Lovely staff. As with a lot of other hotels I have stayed in in Lyon (if they are not a big chain), you have to give the key back in to reception every time you leave, this is not a problem as reception is open 24 hours a day but can be odd at first if you have never stayed in a hotel like this. Small rooms which is what I expect from a city centre Lyon hotel but perfect for what they are.

-WiFi didn't work. Apparently, it needed to be reset by the Hotel. I waisted half an hour trying to get a connection. -Room was directly above a Keebob shop and smelled like Keebob. +Great location right next to train station.

Small but great service
Well, first room they gave us was way too small. There was not even space to put our two regular sized suitcases. The bed was uncomfortable, too, and so we had a very unpleasant first night. After explaining this to the hotel staff they agreed to put us in a bigger room at no extra cost, which was much appreciated. Otherwise the rooms were decent, clean, and the staff friendly. The bathrooms and in particular the shower was very small, but that seems to be standard at these types of hotels.

A pleasant stay

The location was good for us. Right next to Gare de Lyon-Parrache. Tram stop right outside the door. Easy walk in one direction to Place Bellecour and in the other direction to the Confluence shopping area. The room was OK, very small, shower small, but everything was clean, comfortable bed. We enjoyed a quiet sleep. You will hear other guests bang their doors shut but once they are in their rooms, we didn't hear them. Wi-Fi worked quite well in the room. We didn't have breakfast here so I can't comment on that.

Comfortable small 2* hotel .
This is only a 2* hotel so that needs to be bourne in mind. Noise was the biggest problem for me and I had to complain to neighbours on 3 separate occasions regarding the noise from their room in the early hours of the morning, The doors to the rooms need serious attention It's impossible to close them quietly because of the top hinge so without fail EVERY door bangs with people coming and going at all hours. This problem, together with the poor quality wifi , will prohibit my staying here again. Whenever I travel I need to have good access to email and internet and this was impossible on numerous occasions. The connection is not strong enough for the size of the hotel .
