- Disliked: Staff & service, room comfort
Could have been so much nicer.
Be warned that this flat has no reception and I was being asked to send a copy of my passport by unsecured e mail to someone purporting to be the owner of the flat. (The telephone number given by the owner does not accept incoming calls, which added to the fear of this being some sort of scam). Hotels.com advised me against sending my passport, but the owner refused to give me access details to the apartment unless we did so. Also be aware that the apartment is on a very busy noisy road, with no air conditioning, so the windows had to be left open and as a result little sleep was had. There was a fan, but this did not work. In fairness the owners replaced this the next day. There were holes in the sofa and it looked rather dirty. This sofa doubled up as a bed! There were several dirty looking dishcloths left for us and no toiletries to shower with. On the positive side, there was a good shower in the bathroom. The apartment was supposed to be for four people and yet there were only three dining chairs. The apartment is in a good location for an autumn break when it is not necessary to open the windows.
