The Bothy has ample parking just outside the front door & gardens which welcome deer onto the lawns almost every evening. A large lounge/diner is complemented by a generous bathroom, kitchen & bedroom, all accessed from an equally large hallway. Lyndhurst being the capital of the New Forest has a wide variety of walks stretching across the forest from the village, Beaulieu being the home of Lord Montagu & National Motor Museum, Bucklers Hard & Exbury Gardens are all within a very short drive. The surroundings are beautiful and the grounds give way to playing fields and open areas.The property itself is lovely, very spacious for two, with everything you could need for an enjoyable stay.The owners were great at keeping in touch beforehand and left all sorts of supplies for us, including home made marmalade that we would recommend.We'd definitely stay again. ##### Karen L. Lyndhurst is a very busy place, but the cottage is tucked away in a quiet location, just a few minutes walk from the shops and cafes. The cottage had everything we needed and we also enjoyed the gifts from the owners of bread, butter, milk, marmalade and wine!
