Hotel is going thru extensive renovations. No noise but no real amenities. Restaurant only serves buffet breakfast which is set out and left. The first days in our stay my husband and I didn’t encounter another guest. It was like deserted. We wanted to switch to a suite but were told they were full. Strange cause our car was the only one in the parking lot other than the workers. We chose this hotel because we stayed there 15ish years ago when it was the kirkley. And a lot has changed. As of right now there is no bar, no soda machine or anywhere in the hotel to get a snack after breakfast ends at 11am. The room we were given was spacious to the point of being sparse. No art on the walls. A area where curtains should go but no curtains just blinds. The room seemed so empty that the bathroom being so small that I could put my feet up on the tub as I sat on the toilet AND brush my teeth in the sink at the same time was comical if it wasn’t so claustrophobic. The staff were awesome and the bed was very comfortable. I’m sure once it’s completed it will be great. So far the renovations seem very “trendy”.

First time staying here. Sadly the cons outweigh the pros. The staff was friendly and helpful. The lobby and the common areas were very nicely decorated and clean. The room itself was very spacious and the bath towels were very large. Everything else is a con. Although the room was large it was missing a full length mirror and the furniture felt too small for the room, including the TV. The refrigerator in the dresser was too large and the door wouldn’t close. The beds were extremely uncomfortable, one step above sleeping on the floor. In addition the beds have a metal frame that makes a loud noise if you accidentally kick it, which was great when someone got up to go to the bathroom in the middle of the night. One of the comforters also had stains on it. Although there was a physical vent in the bathroom it was not connected to anything and therefore didn’t turn on. The lobby had no water or coffee/tea set up except for breakfast time. The breakfast was very limited, which wasn’t so bad, except the juices were watered down. The gym also had no water. I’m not sure if they are still under construction but there were signs that things were incomplete such as a large tarp hanging in the eating area. Finally, the wifi was barely usable.

The Christmas trees and all decorations outdoors were beautiful and elegant and tastefully designed!! I was able to visit Santa too!!! The rooms were exceptionally clean to where I was not afraid to walk around in bare feet!!! The free breakfast was lacking however.

This was very close to LU and a good stay for the price. Hotel was remodeled but you could still tell it was an older facility. Rooms were large, clean and decorated nicely. Good price for an overnight stay.

Poor service from staff
For over an hour a family and a large party blasted music loudly with their door open and their kids running around while they kept yelling down the hall at them. The staff clearly knew the party because they were also hanging out with them in the lobby. Mind you this was from 10 to 11 pm and nobody on staff addressed this issue. We finally decided to leave at 1115 pm and drive over an hour home because of how loud it was. Even when we walked out the front door i could hear the music from the other end of the hotel. Last time staying here ever.

Hotel hires and protects their thief employees
November 4 , 2023 around 12:30 pm we checked (myself , wife and son) into the Bella vista hotel for one night stay. we had left to attend my son's football game and returned tot he hotel around 4:30 pm. We all had settled into the hotel room I emptied my pockets which included a pocket flashlight, wallet and folded bills of cash which was the amount of 1200 dollars on the dresser next the tv, along with my sunglasses and cigarettes' and lights. I then took and shower and changed clothes, then picked up my sunglasses, lighter and cigarettes' and exited the room to smoke a cigarette at the designated smoking area in front of the building. my wife and son also left the room about 1 minute after me to go down to the front desk to ask for more towels and go out to my vehicle and grab some more of our belongings. We then returned to the room and noticed some had entered the room and dropped off the towels we requested in the bathroom, which was in the back of the main bedroom. after about a half hour passes of waiting on a uber to pick us up, I then realized my money was no longer on the dresser where i had left it. We searched the room and we couldn't find it anywhere to make sure we were not mistaken about the money being stolen from the room. my wife went tot he front desk and told the receptionist what had happened and was meet with the shift supervisor. the supervisor then had an attitude with my wife and explained that has never happened. when then called the police to file

Restaurant was shut down, breakfast buffet was ok but scattered around and the worst part was the pool was ice cold. Rooms were ok but the caulking looked amateur at best. Basically this is a motel with lipstick on a pig. would not stay here again

I enjoy staying at Bella Vista. The staff are very friendly and accommodating, especially Linda. There are a few improvements they could make that would change my rating to excellent like, creating better sound barriers through the room doors, cleaning the water up in the pool area, putting a mattress topper on the beds so they don't feel so firm, and putting a full length mirror in the rooms. In spite of those improvements, though, I would/will DEFINITELY stay there again. I look forward to seeing the continued renovations. Keep up the good work, Bella Vista. Don't get comfortable with just being a "good" hotel. There's potential for GREAT!

The staff was tremendous . So kind and attentive. The hotel just went through a renovation . It’s very pretty . The restaurant/bar area is still not open as of November 2023. It’s expected to be back open in December . The only minor call outs would be the coffee (not great ) and the bed bases are made of a hollow metal . You constantly accidentally kick it. It bangs like a gong . Overall a GREAT value .

At 7 pm there was no hit lot neither in the tub nor wash basin. Tried calling the reception and phone didn’t work. Called from private phone line and the receptionist indicated to run bath tub water for 15 minutes. Did that and never worked. That was the disappointing matter. The receptionist was very courteous. Everything else was very good but no hot water after a long trip was disappointing.

Overall this hotel is fine. They are remodeling it but my room was very bare, the bed was uncomfortable and they only offer PlutoTV so no real tv. I think the hotel is fine as a 2/3 star hotel.
