Lychnostatis is a popular attraction in Hersonissos Centre, a hilly area known for being family-friendly and luxurious. Distinct for its sunrises and small-town feel, this locale has many tasty options for dining and drinking. Many visitors come to bask in its beautiful outdoor settings, namely the mountains, sea, and beaches. Choose a nearby hotel, and get to Lychnostatis with ease. Then, venture out into the greater Hersonissos area for more sightseeing.

Some of the most popular attractions in the area include Palace of Knossos, Heraklion Archaeological Museum, and Natural History Museum of Crete. Arrive at the Heraklion (HER-Nikos Kazantzakis) airport, and then travel 12.4 miles (20 km) to Hersonissos Centre to see Lychnostatis.
