"Charming, family run hotel in a quiet section of Plauen, close to the city center. Breakfast included and really good. Staff helpful. Owner kind enough to sell me a beer even though restaurant had closed. She found me a charger for my IPad, Room was small but comfortable, clean and priced well. "This hotel was more "western" in the room size and overall expanse. We used the hotel as a base to search neighboring towns for genealogical clues to my fathers relatives. Nice big room and bathroom. Delicious breakfast (and dinner one night). Paid parking was onsite and convenient. The showerhead was in rough shape, but it was the weekend and I guess the maintenance staff wasn't available, as it didn't get fixed. Nonetheless, a perfectly enjoyable hotel stay."

"Es ist ein einfaches Gasthaus welches sehr schön wieder hergerichtet wurde. Für eine Übernachtung völlig ausreichend. Es gibt aber keinen wirklichen Eingangs- bzw. Empfangsbereich sodass man erstmal nach einem Mitarbeiter schauen muss. Insgesamt aber alles nicht so schlimm. Da der Gasthof erst ganz neu wieder eröffnet wurde kann man von ausgehen, dass sich alles erst noch einspielen muss. The beirgarten by the water has excellent food, although it closes at 930pm (as does the only restaurant on site (a buffet). The place was comfortable for 1 dayx the lake location and sauna were exactly what we wanted"
