The perfect hotel!
What a nice hotel! Perfect location, cleanliness, friendly staff, good food. We are on a 2 months vacation in Europe, so far this is way the best. Be back for sure.

Nice location with a good spa
Nice location. Rooms are renovated and very clean. Outdoor swimming pool (it was summer time) was nice very welcome on very hot days. Actually they are paying attention to all spa activities which is a pleasant thing. Staff was ok, they are making a good business. Wifi was very bad, practically unusable. Overall a good stay.

The Unterhof is a traditional style Austrian property which has not lost its charm over the years. It is very close to the lift and Sport Stefan ski shop is opposite the lift so the location is ideal for skiiing. The hotel's swimming pool and sauna are appreciated after a day on the mountain.

Super location beside the ski lifts
This hotel is in the best location in the town as is beside the ski lifts, rooms are lovely and homely and have been recently refurbished. All the staff were really friendly and the food was of a really high standard on the half board, and they served afternoon cakes and coffee.

Exceptional on all levels
This hotel has it all, location beside ski lifts/schools, wonderful heated pool, kids play room, ambient bar for drinks and excellent food. All staff are wonderful and very customer focused. You are lucky to stay here, will definitely return when back in Filzmoos.

Fab skiing weekend in Flachau
This was our third trip Hotel Unterhof. Once again the hotel was extremely welcoming, with recently upgraded rooms, comfortable bar and nice wellness area. I must mention the fantastic half board - you could not ask for more choice (and quality) at breakfast and a gourmet restaurant would be proud of the four course evening meal. That accompanied by a decent wine list makes it really pleasant experience. Will definitely come back!

Hotel Unterhof
Well maintenaned hotel, friendly staff, really good service, good food choise. The only remark is that the temperature in the room was to high and it was not possible to decrease it. Recomendation for the managers of the hotel: consider having breakfast from 7:00 instead from 7:30.

Excellent stay in quiet alpine village
Excellent - we really enjoyed the superb service and atmosphere in this quiet hotel in Filzmoos. The staff were, without exception, just always very friendly and helpful. Good sized comfortable well maintained and cleaned room. We loved the towel animals left after our room was tidied and they even made us a cat when we asked if they could - another idea to add to their repertoire. Great indoor pool, the outdoor pool looked good too, although we didn’t try it ourselves. Easy walk down to the centre of Filzmoos in lovely surroundings with just a few shops, an automatic petrol station and other hotels and places to eat. If we are in the area again, we would certainly plan to stay at this hotel again.

A great place to stay

Beautiful hotel in Alpine setting
Beautiful, comfortable hotel in an idyllic setting. Breakfast was amazing. Staff was always helpful and friendly. I highly recommend this hotel! We really enjoyed our stay here.

Great place a village
We loved Hotel Underhof. The only problem is that you advertise they have laundry facilities which they do not. We used their laundry service which cost us 58 Euro for 10 items! Every Friday night in the summer (weather permitting) there is a mini festival with band, crack a whip and dance performances which were great! There is also a very nice grocery store in town but it closes at 7 pm.

Staff very helpful and friendly. Gave us a bigger room in the newer bldg was great. Nice indoor pool and sauna with a beautiful view. The breakfast buffet was very good.

Lovely hotel, excellent customer service
We stayed in a 'doubleroom bergwelt' on the 2nd floor overlooking the pool. The room was quiet, and spacious - and the beds extremely comfortable. We had a lovely view from the balcony (and divisions between balconies give privacy). The evening meals were excellent - dining in the restaurant helped to make the holiday special. Candle-lit tables, attentive and courteous service all helped to make you feel valued as hotel guests. The breakfasts were great too! Great base for hiking; you feel very rested, as you can relax when retreating to the hotel after an active day.

Fantastic balcony on each room. Ours had a view of the mountains. Five course dinner was exceptional. Staff are incredibly attentive and owners were seemingly always on hand. Sauna and pools were a lovely surprise. Made for a fantastic vacation.

A fabulous Hotel which offers a very warm welcome, lovely happy staff and wonderful cuisine. One of the most charming hotels that I have ever visited and ousing with Austrian charm. Can't wait to go back next year. Really close to Schladming and Flachau but remember to hire a car!

Excellent & comfortable Hotel
We have been travelling to Austria regularly for the past two years and stayed in a number of different ski resort hotels. This is one of the nicest. The rooms are spacious and modern, very comfortable to relax or work in. The food was excellent and the staff really friendly. Certainly whenever returning to Filzmoos we will try to book here.

A fantastic stay at hotel Unterhof
This is a beautiful hotel, well appointed inside and out and well maintained. The service was excellent and very friendly. The breakfast selection was wonderful. A huge selection and very high quality. It's set at the edge of the village, so peaceful and only 5 minutes walk to the centre. Access to all walks and amenities was easy. I would very highly recommend this hotel.

Very friendly and welcoming
Beautifully maintained hotel on the edge of the village. The staff were very friendly and professional and very hard working. The afternoon cake and tea by the of fire were very welcome after a day skiing. The hotel was spotless and very well maintained. Lovely indoor pool and spa area. The hotel is about a 5 minute walk (at most) from the main chair-lift in Filzmoos. An excellent base for both a winter and summer holiday.

Really nice!
Really nice location. Quiet, really nice staff, they speak english as well without any problems.Food was really good. The bar is really cozy if you wanna spend some time there. In my opinion ... the perfect place for relaxing / unwinding. The only bad thing I have to say about it is the internet. Was just...horrible. But I didn`t mind enough to take a star off. Will go again!!!
