This family run hotel is a wonderful place to stay. We felt welcomed and looked after by the staff. The breakfasts were good, the bedrooms spacious and comfortable and the bathrooms were well designed and nice to use. Parking is a bit of a problem but not impossible and this would not deter me from staying in Le Saint Erasme again.

Wow ! Just wow ! We had booked a room with oceanview and were somehow upgraded to a quad-room with a HUGE terrasse overlooking the pool and the ocean. We could not have asked for a better room (209). Although the parking can be difficult to find, we were always able to find one at a reasonable location at or near the hotel. The hotel even had (medium-speed) chargers to boost our electric vehicle (5 Eur/hr) which was convenient. We enjoyed walking to town and to the port for dinner. (10 min walk to Port) We also enjoyed the pool after a very long walk (La Revellata) which can be taken directly from the hotel or go park your car a couple of miles away on the same road as the hotel to start the hiking trail to the lighthouse. We brought our bathing suits and snorkel gear for a stop at one of the many hidden beaches along the way. This hotel is very well located and well maintained. We stayed 2 nights and would not heaitate to return if we are ever back in Calvi.

Everything has been perfect: well maintained structure, nice pool and breakfast format and smiling stuff. A bit far from the city centre but perfectly walkable in 10-15 minutes.

Lovely little hotel on quiet street, short walk from old town. We had an amazing ocean view from our room. The breakfast terrace also has an ocean view and shade from a large tree. Very peaceful and relaxing.

Great views from the front of the hotel and a quick check in. No umbrellas or shade around the pool, no mirror in the bedroom and no fridge. Hotel doesn’t offer anything for lunch except for a few sweets / drinks in a vending machine that are really expensive and the nearest restaurants are a good 10/15 walk away.

Fabulous hotel beautiful views
The views were outstanding, the rooms modern and clean, the cleaning staff very friendly and helpful. The only improvement I could suggest is that maybe there should be more shaded area on the terrace and umbrellas by the pool, sometimes it was impossible to get out of the sun without going inside.

Third floor room - fabulous view, very comfortable, plenty of space to properly unpack clothes and store luggage out of the way. Not so keen on the spotlights shining straight through the windows at night. Staff welcoming, helpful but not intrusive.

Great spot 8 mins walk to Calvi Port and Citadel
Stayed for two nights. Booked the day before arrival and found a nice room with partial sea view. Great pool and deck area, sun all afternoon. Yards away from a nice hiking trail along the coast. Ample parking available. Did not try the breakfast.

Beautiful sea views
We booked a comfort double room, it was quite small, we had expected it to be a little larger. The view from the balcony was beautiful looking out to sea. Breakfast is continental, you can have an egg to boil yourself, could do with having more choice. Breakfast is eaten on the terrace above the swimming pool, and overlooking the sea, a lovely setting. The hotel is quiet and relaxing.

Best views in Calvi
It was our fourth stay at this particular hotel and, as always, we were made to feel very welcome by the friendly and helpful staff. The best part is the hotel's location, overlooking the sea and headland with a lighthouse and it is wonderful to sit on the terrace enjoying breakfast in the morning.We would definitely recommend this hotel for anyone wanting to stay in Calvi.

Lovely hotel, great service.
We had Room 306 which was light and airy, spacious, clean with a balcony and great sea view. There's a safe in the room but no fridge. However, the water is safe to drink so no need to buy it. The shower is excellent and easy to use and there is new soap/shower gel provided daily. Staff were patient and helpful. They spoke English, gave advice on restaurants and booked a taxi for us. Lovely terrace for breakfast. Free towels from reception for the pool but take your own towel for the beach. Standard of cleaning is excellent with towels changed daily if you wish. It's about 20 mins walk to town on a well lit road alongside the sea so you get a beautiful view at the same same. Some websites indicate it is nearer to town than it is. If you don't want an uphill walk go for the Hotel St Christophe,the Chrispher Colomb or the Sole Mar close to the Citadel. There are many others in the centre too. Restaurants we liked were Ufanale-their 3 course evening meal was very good and it is close to the hotel, and La Marine in town. Many places do breakfasts too if you want a change from the hotel. From the hotel it's about half an hour walk thro town to beach. Break the journey with a visit to the boulangerie cafe in town. Beware though that to hire 2 sunbeds for the day it is approx 20 euros -about 17 quid. If you go after 2pm the price goes down a little. Other prices: cocktail plus a pint of beer(17euros), price of an average meal is about 20 euros.

Wonderful hotel with the best view in Calvi
We have stayed at this particular hotel a couple of times before and have always found it to be very comfortable and welcoming. The rooms are very tastefully decorated and the air-conditioning provides a welcome relief from the hot summer sun. It is only about a 10 minute walk from the centre of Calvi and the views from the hotel are absolutely stunning, wonderful to sit and have breakfast on the terrace looking out to sea. We would definitely recommend Le St. Erasme if you're looking for a relaxing holiday

The hotel location and views over the coast from the pool are pretty breathtaking. We recently had a 7 night stay which, to be honest, was probably too long given the basic facilities offered for guest comfort. The bar is hardly ever manned/open and although the hotel is exceptionally clean and tidy, it seems to lack guest warmth and any charisma. All in all, we felt that it was expensive for the experience.

Decent hotel a half mile walk from the centre
We arrived late and the staff was kind enough to leave our room keys on the desk as its not staffed 24x7. They were very helpful in talking to Hertz and also giving us directions to the laundrymat. Room was a bit small but clean and comfortable. The breakfast was great and coffee actually good.

A. Lovely place to stay with a pool and nice gardens. Lovely continental breakfast. Very welcoming staff. There were problems with using American Express for booking and hotel dealt with this via e- mails very quickly. Would definitely stay here again.

Solid Hotel Choice for Calvi!
Great Clean Hotel in excellent location in Calvi. Friendly staff was very accommodating and understanding. Room was clean with a great view of the ocean. A touch on the smaller side, but still good for the price. Location was nice, just 10 min walk from center of town. Parking was a little tough though.

Very pleasant stay and hotel. Friendly and helpful staff, and the position up above Calvi overlooking the sea (some rooms) is great. Easy walk down into the centre of Calvi, which is a lovely small town. We had a triple on the first night, the single bed was suitable for a child but not really comfortable for a fully grown teenager. We managed fine for one night, then moved as planned to a lovely double with balcony overlooking the sea on top floor, without teenager who stayed with other family. Also enjoyed the breakfast area patio by swimming pool.

Great hotel, probably the best location in Calvi!
It was our second stay at the Saint Erasme, and since last year, the hotel has been redecorated and updated a little and now it really looks good. It is relatively small but very comfortable and not crowded, so the staff are able to give you personal attention and are very friendly and welcoming. It enjoys am excellent location, overlooking the sea and a headland with a lighthouse which is great to look out on while enjoying your breakfast on the really pretty garden terrace. The pool was a welcome break from the hot sun, but there was an unusual heatwave around the time that we stayed. I would definitely recommend this hotel and hope to return again soon!

Terrible staff
Staff treat you disrespectfully and are inflexible. When asking simple requests like to have a cup of coffee in the room they refuse and will not listen to suggestions. This is the most kid unfriendly resort I have ever been to. So if you are a couple looking for nice views and you dont plan on asking anything from the staff then this is the place for you, otherwise you will do much better in the wonderful town of Calvi somewhere else.

Milieuvriendelijk hotel met dunnen kussens
Hotel is zeer milieuvriendelijk. Vanuit zwembad/terras mooi uitzicht op de zee. Fijn dat je binnen 10 minuten wandelen in Calvi bent. Nadelen: parkeren was erg lastig. Kussens waren veel te dun. Uitzicht bij ons balkon was echt tegen een hoge betonnen muur aan, dus nogal claustrofobisch.
