Fire alarm went offat 6.10am
Staff weren't very helpful any time.
Bar staff very miserable and rude to customers
Not even a DID YOU ENJOY YOUR STAY on checkout.
Not told that room wasnt going to be cleaned during my 3 night stay.
Bathroom dirty and overall the hotel needs to be updated. Downstairs smoking drugs in their room which smelt bad.
Dont expect to pay £60 per night for this stay.
Wont stay here again
Stayed here many times before because of its location. I was given a very nice room by a wonderful English receptionist who has been there for 5 years and always gives her best. Well done and sorry I forgot your name!
I really enjoyed our families stay until the morning before we was due to check out I got a phone call off the receptionist accusing me of having got tickets for a meal time and didnt pay although I'd never eaten once in the hotel, she then phoned back with a half hearted apology when she must of realised it wasn't me.
Staff in the restaurant were nice and friendly, bed was uncomfortable, slight mould around window and on the net curtains, toiletries were minimal. Not as good as the first time we stayed.
Really warm and welcoming staff who were nicely spoken and corporate in appearance. Public areas clean as a pin. Stairwells looking tired and threadbare. Outside was unfortunately looking very tatty. However, we used a twin room which was spotless (if well used) and the stay was an absolute bargain at just £37. I mean, what can one really expect? No tegrets from me and Id definitely use it again.
No wifi , no shower gel, so much noisy, next door keep knocking my door without any reason, i paid 7£ for wifi but wasn’t working, TV wasn’t working, no hot water, we turn on hot water tab, and it sounds very horrible.
I was very disappointed. I realise this is a budget hotel but it really was poor and I would not stay in one of your hotels again.
The place is extremely shabby and needs urgent refurbishment. My room had an awful constant plumbing noise and no heating. After a couple of hours I reported this and was given another room. This was OK but approached by a terrible stone staircase and again very shabby. The TV did not work and it took nearly 2 hours for someone to come and fix it. I received no apology for any of this. They seemed understaffed and uninterested. I have never had the need to write a complaint like this before, obviously some hotels are better than others but this was very poor. My short break to visit family and friends in my home town was somewhat marred. Lesson learnt, you get what you pay for but come on you should be able to do better than this!carr

Liked: Staff & service, room comfort
Disliked: Property conditions & facilities
What you pay for is what you get , could be better
Very basic but it reflects the price so not really surprising however it could have been cleaner and the music didn’t stop till very late and than the doors banging started
The odd timings for the swimming pool was a joke .
Hotel was fine for what you paid, the room was clean and adequate. The facilities were fine for the night. Leisure facilities was an added bonus - we were close to them - which was great. We didn't eat at the hotel, but we got a very good recommendation in Bournemouth town centre, a bit of a walk but that was great to help the food go down. Not sure if there was a lift, but as we were on the ground floor - that wasn't a problem. PS, breakfast was nice in the morning (nothing special, but hot breakfast with a good choice)
The Hotel it's dated and creaking floors, poor isolation and noise, even you can hear de lifts moving from the rooms... carpets are dirty and rooms small and with broken furniture. 1st room given was on the basement with no window or ventilation... was refused another room by reception or even a refund as I said I'm leaving... after speaking with the duty manager u was given a new room with window but very small and not appropriate for my booking but decided to stay... very poor service and staff not very helpful or friendly.
Beds were awful, bathroom had cracked and broken glazed tiling, black mould aroud bath and bath was chipped and marked, due to this and food being cold etc. we did not stay the second night, this mini break was to celebrate our Silver Wedding Anniversary which was totallý ruined, We wood definately not reccomend this hotel to anyone, I think some Compensation is more than due.
Pros - easy walking distance to Bournemouth train station, beach and city centre; lovely room; helpful staff (shout-out to Dulce); in-house dining options; entertainment practically nightly.
Cons - rather dated; no room service, so more like B&B.
107 room was very bad there was all Brown marks at the back of the toilet the toilet roll holder was hanging On by a thread the ceiling in the bathroom was disgusting the carpet was thread bear will never stay there again
Really a lovely stay, a bit outdated, and could do with a clean up with paint and up to date pictures. But over all, it serviced its purpose and was very pleasant.
