The neighborhood was very quiet and is about a half mile from Main Street. The hosts were gracious and quicly responded to all of my messages. "Family of 4. We stayed for 2 nights, and the property was exactly as pictured. Beds are comfortable, bedrooms are huge, house is clean, plenty of room. The patio space is wonderful. Gated community was quiet and felt safe, and was a quick 3-4 min drive to the heart of Helen. Kids were really excited about the arcade! We ate out for every meal, but the kitchen seemed well appointed. Host was gracious and accommodating. We will be back again!"

"The staff was excellent at this property. In fact if it were not for them I would have a hard time giving it a 2. The beds are terrible and should have been replaced long before. The pool was nice, however, it was an indoor pool and the glass doors surrounding it were almost all rusted shut. It was 90 degrees outside so if they were open you might have some cross breeze to make using it a nicer amenity. The place was clean."

"The staff was excellent. Night and day shift. An important plus to note is the service began with my calling the front desk hours before I arrived(with questions of accomedations) and even after I returned home(we accidentally left some purchases in the room). It was a great place to return to after a long day."

"This is your typical older hotel. It’s not great to look at and the wear and tear is obvious. The lobby and breakfast area are a bit shabby. However, renovations were underway while we were there. All employees were very nice. The room was fine, bed was fairly comfortable. We ended up with a jacuzzi tub that needed deep clean but again that wasn’t a big deal. The thing that makes this hotel great is the ideal location. Not only is it walking distance to the shops and restaurants, but it is right on the river with a nice green space, picnic tables stairs right in to the water. Here you can watch the tubers all day and skip rocks in the evening. This hotel was perfect for my family although I do feel the price I was charged was a bit ridiculous, but I booked last minute so maybe that’s on me. "
