Quietly perched on a sunny hillside close to the lake shore, this is the perfect choice for couples seeking a tranquil escape. Situated on the ground floor of a historic two-story Villa, the property is surrounded by lush greenery. Ideally set up for alfresco living, the property features a pretty patio terrace with a wonderful view of the lake. Here, guests can dine under the stars, relax with a good book, or simply unwind and bask in the sun. Inside, the living room looks out to the terrace through two huge arched glass doors. This room is stylishly furnished with a coffee table and a comfortable sofa, positioned to enjoy the incredible view. The historic centre of Lugano, the beautiful Parco Ciani, museums, San Lorenzo Cathedral, the terraces of Piazza della Riforma and Lugano casino are all within a 20-minute walk/7-minute drive. In Cassarate (a 10-minute walk), guests can take the funicular railway to the summit of Monte Brè. There is also a ferry terminal, where visitors will find routes to explore the lake by boat. In the summer, guests can sunbathe and swim in the lake at Lido San Domenico (a 4-minute drive / 20-minute walk). For the best local ingredients, guests should head to Lugano’s farmers market (Tuesdays and Fridays) on Via Carducci (a 7-minute drive).
