I did like that the room we used had a sofa sleeper along with an extra easy chair that was comfy. The room was a little large than most rooms with a king size bed and the sofa sleeper and then the extra bunk seat that was also cushy. What I was disappointed on was the hot tub was cold, but the pool was a little warm. And no towels in the pool area, but we did ask for some. And I did pay over $200 for one night and I come to BW for the hot tub. The water was somewhat unclean.

Best Western Lamesa, TX
The first reservation included 1 king standard room. This reservation was immediately updated to 1 double queen standard room. Which was updated via Hotels.com. The only itinerary received reflected this accommodation. When we arrived & checked in our room was a king standard. I phoned the front desk concerning this accommodation. Amanda/Best Western front desk associate, said this is the only reservation they have. Therefore they did not receive the update from Hotels.com & have no other rooms available. This in turn caused me to have an extra expense of a roll away bed. $10-$15. This expense is not the problem. The problem is my reservation was apparently not confirmed with the hotel. A slight mistake but nevertheless could have resulted in a very uncomfortable stay.

Easy to check in and out. Breakfast was amazing. Didn’t get a chance to try out pool/hot tub. But my own doing not the hotels. Not much in La Mesa, went for a wedding, but the hotel made the trip so comfortable and stress free. Will stay here anytime I’m in town.

Jacuzzi not heated.
Was upset we wanted to stay because they had a jacuzzi . When we got to the hotel driving 8 hrs they said the jacuzzi was in service. Well my wife and I went to the pool dressed for the water and the water was freezing. The jacuzzi didn’t have a heater . The jets were running but it was freezing. What good is that? I went to the man who was working behind the desk and asked him about the heater for the jacuzzi. He said he didn’t know it was cold and didn’t have a key to fix the heat in the room. The man was nice it’s not his fault but in overall we could of stayed somewhere else payed less if that were the case. My wife has back issues that is one of the main reasons I booked this. So we were very upset over this.

The desk staff and the breakfast staff were all so nice and helpful! Our room was nice and clean. If I had to say anything remotely negative, I would say the mattresses were in need of improvement but that's really it.

You've got to stay here.
This was our forth stay at this location. The reason we keep coming back is the customer service, cleanliness, comfort and location (in that order). We were not let down in any way in fact, the breakfast bar has just gotten really good with several items for even the choosiest palate. Keep up the great work!

Just dirty. Stains on the lamps, the fridge was dirty and there was mold in the freezer. The bath tub wasn’t clean. I know they are allotted a certain time to clean, but this was just gross this time. I don’t think anyone would choose to stay in Lamesa so you really have to deal with it 😂

There are only two properties in La Mesa to choose from this hotel and the Shiloh Inn ..stayed at the Shiloh Inn in October I would never go back to this best western.. the Shilo inn was a much better property overall and it was $30 a night cheaper ..go figure. when we checked into the hotel there was some kind of a birthday party going on for kids in the pool area it was loud dirty must’ve been at least 20 kids in the pool with the noodles and water toys with some kind of weird set up for some parents outside and someone was just letting them use the pool for a party it was also right outside my room so I got to hear all the yelling and screaming from the kids in the pool area after my day long drive.

Sleeping on the pull out sofa bed was beyond terrible as this is my only complaint regarding my room. I will never book another room with a sofa bed as a sleep option as it was very uncomfortable.
