Great stay in a 2 bedroom beachfront villa with private pool which gave us lots of space and privacy.
A good breakfast buffet is included and we loved having dinner on the wate's edge at the Beach Bar restaurant.
Just spent 4 nights here in this beautiful idyllic place - we stayed in the pool villa and it was just stunning. Everything is beautifully presented and peaceful. Food was lovely, service is excellent and the front of house lady Eka was very welcoming. Nothing was too much trouble and as we were on honeymoon we were even given a complimentary mini spa treatment each. I would certainly recommend staying here - it is 3 hours drive from the airport but well worth the trip!
Located on the north coast of Bali, this hotel is 12 km (7.5 miles) from hot springs and 15 km (9miles) from Git Git …More
This is an amazing hotel. You feel like you are in paradise. Staff is extremely helpful and friendly. The food is good and the rooms are amazingly clean and comfortable. The hotel has amazing settings! If you stay there you would love this hotel!
Nice hotel, although a little sleepy, very quiet and relaxing. Huge, nice, clean rooms and good facilities, including coffee making, DVD, Foxtel etc. Meals/kitchen very average. No atmosphere in dining room, despite a beautiful view. Menu choice poor and delivered cold, almost inedible. Advice....eat else where. Lovely pool and gardens. Location average, a bit too far out of town for us (family of 4). Advertising disappointing as they say you can swim with the Dolphins off the beach..... Not so. You have to pay to go on a boat trip and then you're still. It aloud to get in the water.
What a fabulous hotel ..The beach cottages were awesome. Felt so homely and we'll thought out.
Such great attention to detail in the rooms even your own filtered water on tap, a beach bag and water canister.
The room was very comfortable and great comfy beds.
had a greeting g card waiting in my room inviting all guests to the live music in the beachfront bar that night...was awesome.
My only complaint was there was no restaurant facilities as they were refitting it. Which meant I had to go into town every time I wanted to eat or even get a snack.
Nothing really around close by.
Also my room was not cleaned or bed made up on my second nights stay.
apart from that the hotel was fabulous just a pity about lovina beach which is full of litter ...not the best.
The staff were so friendly. The hotel has its own service for taxis, snorkelling and dolphin watching. My bed was the most comfortable thing in the world after weeks of sleeping in hostels. The staff at the front desk are very welcoming and learnt my name from the moment I go to the hotel until I left
This hotel is beautiful - however, most of the other reviews are correct - the staff are pretty disinterested. The room we got was lovely but there was a whole farm of dust bunnies under the bed and in the bathroom. More from disuse I think than anything else - seemed to be abit of a ghost resort. We had no hot water the whole time we were there and although they did try and fix it - it was pretty low priority.
Our room had no TV and no fridge - there are NO safes in the rooms. (however we were later told that there were some at the desk) These were all advertised as being provided. We asked about an upgrade to the larger rooms that had a tv and fridge but were told that we would have to cancel our expedia booking and get a refund from them and then rebook there - as we were only there for 3 nights it just seemed too hard. We were the only guests in the whole place intially and even then - the staff were pretty disinterested.
The lane way to My Lovina is pretty overgrown at the My Lovina end and is a little daunting walking in the dark and the small bridge into it has no guard rails and would be really easy to fall off in the dark - these are small things but probably need to be addressed.
I would probably stay there again in the larger room - as I said the place is beautiful - however I would be better prepared next time.
Centered on Bali's quieter north coast, the black sand shore of Lovina Beach stretches for 12 kilometers. Dolphins sightseeing trips depart daily, and hand-carved dolphin statues are popular souvenirs. Snorkeling and spa visits are popular activities, but those looking to explore the area should visit Bali's largest Buddhlist monastery, Brahma Vihara Arama, and the enchanting Banjar Hot Springs.
