Great location in Paris.

Pros: Location, staff.
Cons: Air conditioning not working properly first day. OK thereafter.
Location: Near Opera House, Louvre Museum, Tuileries gardens, Musee d'Orsay.
Second time at this hotel. Very friendly staff, good breakfast included, nice rooms.

Great hotel in nice location for exploring Paris.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this hotel due to its prime location and incredible staff who were always eager to help. Front desk staff arranged for a massage which my wife loved while we were there. Breakfast buffet offered big variety of hot and cold foods and the guys (and girl) in dining room provided best service I've ever experienced without being intrusive. Rooms at the hotel are on the small side but provided everything we needed. We cannot wait to return to the Edouard 7.

Perfect location

The hotel is ideally located between the Opera and the Louvre and close to the shops and plenty of restaurants. A lovely boutique hotel which I have no hesitation in recommending. Only downside was that there was supposed to be a bottle of wine in our room that was not provided.

Edouard 7 Paris Opera

Pros: Rooms were of good size
Cons: Wifi and English speaking TV channels
Location: Great location, close to musium and tour company
We had a great stay at this hotel, it was very central to everywhere we needed to go. The dining room and breakfast was very nice, staff were very attentive. The wifi was slow and our coffee sachets were not replaced in our mini bar each day but overall we really enjoyed our stay here and certainly will return the next time we are in Paris.

Great location and service

Pros: Great breakfast buffet
Cons: Like many French hotels, no kettle was provided in the bedroom.
Location: Within easy walking distance of many art galleries and museums
This was everything we'd hoped for: centrally located. The staff dealt well with the luggage and the summoning of taxis when required.

Nice hotel close to the opera house.

Pros: Location, staff, the room itself.
Cons: I like a firmer mattress, but that's a personal choice.
Location: Right near the Opera, several metros and the rest of Paris.
We really liked this hotel. Everyone working there was very friendly and helpful. We wanted to pay a little more and stay in a nice hotel for the last night in France and this hotel was perfect. The only issue for me is that the bed was pretty soft. Many people will like that, but I prefer firmer for my back, but that's the only thing that was even vaguely displeasing.

syringe found in room

Cons: Better response to clients when syringes are found in rooms - it had to be the cleaning people - background check them or train them better.
Location: It was fine
When I can back after dinner the second night I saw a used syringe on the floor. Appalled, I brought it to the front desk and no on has followed up to explain or apologize for this dangerous drug vessel for being there. The shower also overflowed and he sink sis to drain well. I was also charter for two bottles oh water they told me were complimentary. I'd never stay there again.

Wonderful hotel in a very central location

Pros: I have stayed at this hotel before. It is a little gem in the most central location in Paris.The staff is very polite and the renovated rooms are good
Cons: Renovate the older rooms; good shower doors
Location: Steps from the Opera, Place Vendome, the Louvre. Metro stop Opera is a block away, bus going to the left bank-St. Germain des Pres right outside.
Check in was easy and efficient. The door in the shower did not close all the way leading for the bathroom to flood. I told reception and they asked me if I wanted to switch rooms or wait to have it fixed. Since I had already unpacked I did not want to move rooms. The next morning I noticed the same issue, they had not fixed the problem. When I spoke with reception they were very apologetic and immediately gave me an upgrade to a much nicer room. It seems they thought it was the shower and not the shower door that was an issue- simple miscommunication.
